The reason is Left, Nitish and AIADMK will have more seats than Mamata, Lallu and DMK respectively. So in number game, Congress will be in advatageous if they pick the 1st lot dumping the second. It's so simple.
Now the question is will Left, Nitish and AIADMK will align with Congress?

Congress wants Left over TC
by mailme alladin on May 06, 2009 09:38 PM

Congress will not mind to divorce TC to get support from Left, because Left will have many more seats than TC. Congress did tie up with TC to reduce Left's seats. But after election they can dump TC for number game, after all Congress didn't have tie-up with TC on a very respectable terms.

by chintan jhunjhunwala on May 06, 2009 09:31 PM

mamata banerjee knows the ways of the congress so why is she surprised by rahuls comments.the congis want to retain power at all costs because they know that once nda comes in power and they start unearthing all the hoarded money it will be quite a scene.

Rahul's true colours!
by Ashariri on May 06, 2009 08:53 PM  | Hide replies

Now, this is not the first time Mr.Rahul has exposed his 'true colours'.

He earlier said he could have become PM at a very early age,if he really wanted.

Now he has come out against family rule in Congress!ha ha .Real comedy!

He now speaks of tying up with AIADMK when his party has an alliance with DMK.

He lashes out at the Left and then says Left will support the Congress after elections.

He has an alliance with the TC and he woos the Left!

This is the guy whom our Barkha's and Rajdeep's have been promoting as Indian Obama.

If these comments of his are any indication he will not be any different from his Father-who threw away the faith people reposed in him by giving a majority which even Nehru or Indira got because of his Bofors connection and other acts like trying to gag the press.

If Rahul becomes PM and continues with the current attitude-God save this country!

Why Rahul Gandhi is projected as future PM after MMS?

What is his ability that makes him eligible?

Why he is better than Omar Abdullah,Sachin Pilot,Pranab Mukherjee,P Chidambaram and any other leader from any other party?

Modi,Navin,Maya,Gowda,Lalu,Nitish,Jaya,Naidu all are having state level administrative experience (all are ex/current CM).....what Rahul has?

What is his educational qualification...is he better than me in education.....I am an engineer...now doing EMBA from symbi....SW professional.
