The Emperor is wearing new clothes.
by sarathy amudhan on May 06, 2009 12:24 AM

It is ridiculous to see the media fawning over the Ghandhy brats and going into raptures over to the clans utterances. The clan has not been able to bring about any development in their pocket boroughs of Amethi and Rae Bareli.First let them prove that they are pitch forked to lead the country. It is pathetic to see the media trying to pass of the incoherent utterings as pearls of wisdom. While the media has joined the chorus and is chanting that the emperor has new clothes the child (people ) will silently convey that the emperor is naked through the ballot.

BJPs Magical Novel schme for needy what did congee do in 60yr
by gomateswara on May 06, 2009 12:07 AM  | Hide replies

Ladli Laxmi Yojana scheme was started by the BJP govt in MP in 2006. In a very short time, it has proved to be one of the most successful social welfare schemes in the history of the state.

Under the scheme, the state govt buys saving certificates of Rs 6,000 each year for five consecutive years for every girl born in a family.

The girl gets Rs 2,000 after she completes her Class 5, another Rs 4,000 after she completes Class 8, Rs 7,500 after she completes the Class 10, Rs 200 per month in her 11th standard and a lumpsum amount of Rs 1,18,000 after she enters the 12th standard or, alternatively, attains the age of 18.

The principal aim of the scheme is to eliminate school dropout among girl students and to encourage them to study at least upto pre-college level.
Kanyadhan Yojna: state gives Rs 7,500 for poor families during the time of a girl's marriage, and
Janani Suraksha Yojna: state provides all economic & health support to a pregnant woman till the time of delivery.
This is what I (as an Indian) call development of girl child; unfortunately no media will project this, but will project BJP as T@liban if some Sene beats a girl who goes to a pub only coz it happened in a state ruled by BJP. This bias is going to be the undoing of the Congress

Where is congress, how they get the nos. to form the Govt. ?
by vijaya kumar on May 05, 2009 11:45 PM  | Hide replies

No Congress in UP, only Amethi and Raibareilly
No Congress in Bihar
No Congress in Tamil Nadu
Karnataka, Gujarat,Chattisgarh, Jarkhand, Madya Pradhesh, uttranchal, Himachal, Assam, NDA will sweep. Congress will get upto 10 to 15 LS seats in these states. States like Rajasthan, Punjab, Delhi, Haryana. It will be 50-50 seats for NDA & Congress or 40 -60 seats in these states. Left out Andhra, Orissa,Maharastra states congress may get 1/4th of the total seats. In West Bengal it is TMC, congress will get few seats. In Kerala they may get 10 seats. In totality Congress LS seats will come down considerably except Kerala plus few more seats in Rajasthan. Then how congress get the nos. for forming the govt. ?

Har era geira Prime Minister nahin ban saktha
by Raj Adhikari on May 05, 2009 11:45 PM  | Hide replies

Not any dumb or criminals can become the Prime Minister of this great nation. That position deserves a lot of respect and only great leaders like Manmohan Singh can fit in that position. BJP would like all of its leaders to become the Prime Minister but is there anyone who is fit to be even a small officer in the Prime Minister Office ? Indians did a mistake by giving NDA a chance, that was enough, u guys almost derailed the economy and divided the country into pieces. Now we want to live unitedly and happily.

Humble plea to Congress Pls do not divide the nation further
by anjaneya on May 05, 2009 11:37 PM  | Hide replies

Latest in the series of controversies centred on the Congress party’s fixation with Muslim grievances is the data collection exercise involving the Indian Armed Forces.
It is irrelevant and mischievous to mention about caste-based divisions in the Army during the British rule.
Congress leaders not only divided the country politically but also militarily. The military officers and men of pre-independence India , belonging to all communities fought the WWII together under the British.

Pakistan got a ready-made army at its birth. When Indian Muslims got Pakistan they also got a Muslim army carved out of the undivided Indian Army. This army produced Pakistani generals and officers who fought wars with India — the first full scale war being in 1965. This is history in living memory.

The Congress party having divided and ruled the country for decades is continuing with its dangerous game and monstrous thinking of doing a head count for the Army now.

Rahul Gandhi: No more a political 'Pappu'
by Kuldeep Mathur on May 05, 2009 11:34 PM  | Hide replies

My view is that Rahul has demonstrated over the years that he is sincere, hardworking and quite intelligent. He is just unlucky that he has Gandhi tag, having said that i have grown up with stories where throne is passed from father to son irrespective of his/her calibre. It is same with other parties as well, where they have helped their family members to get onto the political ladder.

Cheers

why rahul will lose
by Pradip Parekh on May 05, 2009 11:24 PM  | Hide replies

women will not vote for him.
after sukanya rap- e chapter, girls keep safe distance from him. women won't for rahul.
rahul has no character; he can't run his personal affairs right, he never did work, he can't get a job where he can earn fairly for fair work. in a normal family would call him a lafanga. is that what you would want in somebody who thinks he is hotshot pm material? say no, hell no to rahul, nothwithstanding the money gandhis pour into corrutping the meida with planted stories. educated india wants a pm with proven capabilities - like narendra modi and advani.
