Communism, with very few exceptions, f*cks its own people:
1. USSR - Stalin's pogroms; slave labour camps; Beria and the dreaded NKVD; the KGB and its satellite agencies.
2. East Germany - it's said the Stasi had cultivated 1/3rd of all its own people as its informers. If you said anything wrong when 2 people were listening, there was a 33% chance you'd get imprisoned that night!
3. China - so called "Cultural revolution" killed its own intellectuals and even elite party people - anyone whom that nutcase mao didn't trust. And then there was Tianenmen square massacre. even to this day, they heavily censor mainstream and new media.
4. Cuba - one of the poorest countries under that filibuster castro.
5. Vietnam - North vietnamese were notorious for cruelty towards their own and later the south.
6. Cambodia - pol pot and khmer rouge, the most bloodthirstly modern cult, followed commie ideology.
7. North Korea - they prefer killing their own starving millions in favour of more missiles!
8. Angola and Mozambique - one is/was blood diamond country; the other was civil war torn.
The only country I havent come across anyhing bad is mongolia. Then again, that doesnt mean it's good!
What makes you think the Indian variety will be any better? Judging from WB and Kerala, they won't be!
All said and done, if you think Marx is great and das kapital is THE book, then go get yourself admitted to NIMHANS, blore - they have good treatment for schizophrenics!

I don't agree that communists do not have any vision. Their vision must be to destroy the country, else why will they oppose nuclear deal or any other development program. Just the fact that they oppose Narendra Modi proves that they are against development and want the country's politics to run on caste and religion based divisions only.
There is enough evidence to prove that they are against Modi
is the time to give the left parties such a tight jolt that they will never think of forming a government again in their lives. All their lives, they have been in the opposition and even when they came into power in the UPA all they did was pull their weight around when they should've been expediting things instead as part of the government. After Singur, it is more and more evident that they are more of hindrance to progress than not. Even if they are part of the next govt, thanks to stupid regionalism in national politics, they should be relegated to just participants rather than decision makers.
Their rhetoric seems to suggest that they are in dire straits these elections and are just trying to maintain a strong facade.

Hey Baby thats mean you don't know the qualification of your PM. Its very shame to know that. I think after knowing the qualifications of our PM you will more be in shame for using that type of sentence. I think every PM's in Line will be smaller to you. Outsider like President Obama of US some days back wihile answering to an question said to an Indian reporter that He should be proud of his PM i.e, DR M.M Singh. I am proud to have PM of this qualification.

It is because left dragged there feet, that congress was able to sign the deal. Congress was very clear right from the begining that they will sign it. Left is as much responsible for the deal being signed as congress.

Are you aware that Narendra Modi demolished few mosques in Gujarat and hundreds of temple in Gujarat for development. Even Ashok Singhal has called him "Ghazani of the East". and you say he is not secular?
