Ladli Laxmi Yojana scheme was started by the BJP govt in MP in 2006. In a very short time, it has proved to be one of the most successful social welfare schemes in the history of the state.
Under the scheme, the state govt buys saving certificates of Rs 6,000 each year for five consecutive years for every girl born in a family.
The girl gets Rs 2,000 after she completes her Class 5, another Rs 4,000 after she completes Class 8, Rs 7,500 after she completes the Class 10, Rs 200 per month in her 11th standard and a lumpsum amount of Rs 1,18,000 after she enters the 12th standard or, alternatively, attains the age of 18.
The principal aim of the scheme is to eliminate school dropout among girl students and to encourage them to study at least upto pre-college level. Kanyadhan Yojna: state gives Rs 7,500 for poor families during the time of a girl's marriage, and Janani Suraksha Yojna: state provides all economic & health support to a pregnant woman till the time of delivery. This is what I (as an Indian) call development of girl child; unfortunately no media will project this, but will project BJP as T@liban if some Sene beats a girl who goes to a pub only coz it happened in a state ruled by BJP. Hello friend, Don't you think this again will give a chance for corruption like teacher will be asking share to pass the Student into next class specially in Government schools.

We'll only be stable with being self-reliant, not by china or usa...so such logic dont work anymore..

communists are the least corrupt among all the parties in india.The percentage of conviction or allegation of corruption against communist leaders in India is very low compared to other parties. For all other parties corruption has become a way of life that Indians accept it as part of the functioning of political parties. The communists have funded all their assets in the country since independence by money contributed by its members and collected from the general public.

As for this dream of China, paki, India etc, India is civilizationally and culturally diametrically opposite to China. There can never be friendship betn us, only grudging acknowledgements. Fu Jian , Good idea that . India will develope on mixed economy model which we have been following so far with the possible exception of 6 yrs of BJP rule . As to commies coming to power , it is so very far fetched that it does nto even deserve comment . You think a party with 30-40 MPs out of 543 will be able to form the govt ?? well it may be possible in china but not in india . Here the cleanest route would be for one of the larger political parties to sit in opposition ( either BJP or COng ) and the other one will have to cobble and alliance which may or may not be supported by commies . Another option could be third front getting outside support from either cong or BJP to form govt . In either case a communist becoming PM is to say the very least far ffetched . Lets wait for 16th may to see what does the numbers look like .

Even Dr Kalam has said N-Deal is historical necessity. Communism, with very few exceptions, f*cks its own people:
1. USSR - Stalin's pogroms; slave labour camps; Beria and the dreaded NKVD; the KGB and its satellite agencies.
2. East Germany - it's said the Stasi had cultivated 1/3rd of all its own people as its informers. If you said anything wrong when 2 people were listening, there was a 33% chance you'd get imprisoned that night!
3. China - so called "Cultural revolution" killed its own intellectuals and even elite party people - anyone whom that nutcase mao didn't trust. And then there was Tianenmen square massacre. even to this day, they heavily censor mainstream and new media.
4. Cuba - one of the poorest countries under that filibuster castro.
5. Vietnam - North vietnamese were notorious for cruelty towards their own and later the south.
6. Cambodia - pol pot and khmer rouge, the most bloodthirstly modern cult, followed commie ideology.
7. North Korea - they prefer killing their own starving millions in favour of more missiles!
8. Angola and Mozambique - one is/was blood diamond country; the other was civil war torn.
The only country I havent come across anyhing bad is mongolia. Then again, that doesnt mean it's good!
What makes you think the Indian variety will be any better? Judging from WB and Kerala, they won't be!
