Modi has not been able to generate the same kind of magic here in north india as he has shown in Gujrat . A recent rally held in ambala( haryana ) failed to gather even 10,000 people and even then when modi started attacking manmohan singh , many people walked out . EVen a district level leader of congres was able to muster larger crowds . Similar seens were witnesed in faizabad rally of MOdi . where the number of people attending raly was very less .
Clearly brand modi still does not have much of steam out of Gujrat . Also , loks like most of north india is no longer interested in hardcore hindutva .

mr.jiggs. it is not magic that lot of people attend the rally or meeting. to-day politicians generate gathering by giving money to the people while asking them to attend the rally or meeting. modi has not given money and hence actual interested people came to attend the rally of modi
the author has no professional credibility and it seems he is acting on behalf of the congress. I am not disputing the facts or saying if they are correct but this article is coming up now when the 4th and 5th phase are left which are supposedly pro congress so as to ensure rout of the BJP. if this was done before the first phase a lot more people could have read it and voted accordingly in all states but this has been timed to perfection to happen after phase 3: which is in the BJP belt else consolidatin would have happened. this is not fair play.

Infact, all that is now being talked about is just the symptom. The cause is not even recognised. Let the "Secular Brigade" do something to correct the cause and all else will correct themselves.

This signifies at least two important facts: 1) There is panic in Congress-UPA camp. 2) The country is clealry divided between two groups, one catering to the interests of minorities and the other wanting to evolve a national consensus by separating religious beliefs from governance.
