"There really is no way to go back and give them that innocence that was taken from them. ... The one thing I wish I could give the victims, I cannot," he said.
"Once again, I apologize to anyone who has been offended, who has been abused. ... It should not have happened and should not ever happen again."
Mahony said that he has met in the past 14 months with dozens of people alleging clergy abuse and that those meetings helped him understand the importance of a quick resolution to what he called a "terrible sin and crime."

The only mistake BJP makes again and again is to flaunt the Hindutva agenda. RSS is also foolish to adopt a harsh stand on their policies. VHP & RSS should actually carry out more philanthropic work to help the poor. This includes setting up schools, providing tubewells in areas where drinking water is scarce, helping the youth of villages with schemes and small loans so that they can set-up their own small business like sewing, opening small shops etc. This will not only attract people towards Hinduism, but will eliminate the fears people have. Also one area where RSS & VHP never worked is to eliminate the casteism. It is painful to see the RSS/VHP/BJP leaders commit one mistake after another and other political mafias (& power-hungry morons) seizing the opportunities to belittle BJP and reducing BJP's chances of winning the majority in the elections year after year. One Karnataka or Chattishgarh won't help BJP much.

Indian (or Pakistani), I do not care for RSS or BJP. BJP is just another political party using all tricks for getting into Power.
The Churches in Kerala had issued dime-a-dozen Pastoral Letters against the duly elected Govt of Kerala. They had issued specific instruction not to vote for the "Non-believers" (Communists) and had even told that BJP is better than Communists as they believe in some g0d.
If these guys cannot tolerate a Sercular Party like CPI (M) whom are they going to tolerate?
As regards Charity, the Missionary organizations are spending more money on publicity than actual charity. It is like the Lions Club of India distributing Sweing machines to poor widows at functions organized at Five-star Deluxe Hotels.
Parjapita Brahmakumaris in the largest net-work of NGOs in the World. How many of have you have heard their name?

JGN, I'm glad to see your response. At the same time I'm disappointed because I was expecting more on this subject from you. I have not only heard about Prajapati Brahmakumaris but have visited their few ashramas in Abu, Baroda and Navi Mumbai etc. I have a maid from AP whose family converted to christianity by the missionaries. She tells me that they are better off now. They were provided education, medical help when needed and also other helps towards development like installing tubewell in their village etc. Earlier I had a maid also a convert but from UP. She candidly said that they got money to get converted but her family had to flee from Agra as the BJP/RSS/VHP supporters gave them tough time once their conversion news spread. So do you see the two faces of misionaries. I have reasons to believe that there is indeed some good job being doen in the remote areas by them for the poorest of the poor. These wretched fellow are more concerned to remain alive. So how can we expect them to perform dharma and maintain a religion which gives them no benefit. Had VHP/RSS also got indulged into philanthropic acts like the missionaries, I would've had reasons to blame the converts. But I have seen evidences that there is some substance behind the conversions and not all of them are driven with the help of money.

BJP is a party fit only for upper caste elites led by an 84-year old cow piss drinker .They have done nothing for minorities (not only Muzlims , I also mean Christians,Parsis etc) .I request all BJP supporters to switch off their TV sets on May 16 as it is a certainty that they are going to lose

HEI JGN i read in some book,all thinking men were etheists,like edison galileo n all.i always have a doubht,where are the gods hiding??see the sufferings around us,so sad,is god not for the poor who are suffering??and sometimes i feel how arrogant we are here to fight with each otehr,abusing each other...but there is some power for sure,well science can only take us to a certain level,cant explain to us more than that..as religions is made for the good of us,lets follow it..
