patel will continue to be the MLA from kalol ... he does not have to quit his MLA seat until elected to LS

next elections in gujarat are in 2012, this will give patel an opportunity to be known outside kalol

So many type of reservation in India. I suggest one more. Reserve few Constituencies for educated, criminal-record-free, corruption-free candidate.

by Sameer on Mar 31, 2009 10:28 PM  | Hide replies

Congress playing race card. Its again trying to divide the community and rule the massess.

CONGRESS LEADERS AND THEIR KINS ARE THOUGHT THIS TATICS EVER SINCE THE BRITISH THOUGHT THIS TO NEHRU FAMILY.

NEHRU FAMILY AND NOW THE GANDHY FAMILY (CHRISTIAN) IS AGAINST THE VARUN GANDHI (HINDU) BRANCH.

VOTERS MUST GET RID OF THE NEHRU FAMILY FROM THE FACE OF POLITICS OF INDIA IF THEY WANT INDIA AND THEMSELVES TO EXCEL.

Religion is never bad brother. Only their interpreters are. Show me one religion which doesn't talk about love and compassion? I believe in Dr Kalam's statement when he said only teacher and parents can make children a good citizen.

If you and me are good to others that's enough to change India.

Good going rediff
by Mohammed Allah on Mar 31, 2009 10:28 PM  | Hide replies

Any topic on Advani draws a lot of bloggers.
Rediff has found a very unique way to increase their hit ratio; introduce one advani or modi or varun topic everyday and the rest is history.

by Money tvs on Mar 31, 2009 10:27 PM

The senior congress leaders don't import candidates? They import Prime minister candidate from Rajya Sabha. A PM who hasn't got the guts to fight an election. And a PM by proxy who cannot reveal her greed for the post. Great Joke

The BJP has already declared Advani as its Prime Ministerial Candidate. If Congress is fielding Patel against him, it must ensure that Patel is made the Prime Minister if he wins. Else it must field Manmohan Singh or whoever is Congress candidate for Prime Ministership against Advani.

HE IS THE MAN WHO ARE RESPONSIBLE THE GROWING TERRORIST ACTIVITIES IN THE COUNTRY BY HIS RATH YATRA WHICH LEADING TO DEMOLISH BABRI MASJID AND THE BLOOD SHED AFTER THAT. AND HE ALWAYS SUPPORTING ONLY MILITAND HINDUS ( SEE VARUN ISSUE). HOW CAN HE SEE ALL INDIANS IN ONE EYE?

It is not Advani's Rath Yatra that increased terrorism...level of terrorism actually increased during the times of Rajiv Gandhi because of his incompetence and immoral approach. Terror has increased more during current Cong led UPA (under performers as always) government. Current govt can not view the terrorists as terrorists but it looks through the eye of religious folowing of terrorists..the terrorism increased due to lowering of security guard by Indian government...terrorism increased because of napunsaks like you who believe in blaming Pakistan for everything and doing nothing for improving internal security..more damages have been caused and more lives have been lost due to naxal violence in India than mumbai terror attacks..what a pity....a great country India has gone to the Dogs..God help India if God can..
