People who fought and sacrified most for Indian independence are those bordering other countries now-so most of south India & someother inner states never saw the pain. I am sure Pr Prabhakar is from somewhere uneffected. Advani did more for the Hindus than what many communist & DMKs or COngress are doing the reverse degree. Likewise more Russian Jews [including ex-PM Sharon] are fighting for Israel than native Isralies.

May the best man win. It is for the electorate of Gandhi Nagar to decide. Why should we fight about it here?
Personally, I feel the Congress should never win again. Let a non-Congress Government be formed at the Centre, even if it is by the motely group calling themselves the Third Front.

The Indian electorate should understand that BJP does not have a leadership depth to replace Mr. Advani. If Advani dies, the remaining leaders will fight with each other like the fight between Jaitley and Rajnath, and like several other such fights.
It is a matter of serious thought, for the electorate. Management depth is one of the real important decision points.

I rate Pranav Mukharji is best in Congress. Regarding BJP Apart from Advani, Mr Modi has great skills to lead the country. Similarly I rate GovindaCharya is the one of the best thinker India has.

When people are not allowed to speak their mind against injustice under the garb on hate speech the law is on the side of the oppressor. Free speech is the first line of defence against oppression. The right to cause offence is fundamental to free speech, democracy, transparency etc. When there is not free speech there is tyranny, like in Islamic countries.
