Use commensense Think sensibly Think loyaly
by Guest on Apr 01, 2009 06:43 AM  | Hide replies

This kind of politicians are spoiling our country. First of all Varun Gandhi is not a well famed or talented person in political and gandhi family. By making his stupid comment a big issue media too spoiling the time of people and country. If you open any indian news channels 24 hours they have only this as the main news of the country. Is there any other important news from india?

again he should be punished and suprem court did it. But misguiding the people without commonsense in to protest for this is another vote bank trick of BJP snd its leaders.

Why this people are protesting Varun Gandhi? He has done stupid comment which can cause communal riots. Why this people are going behind this kind of stupid things and spoiling normal life of country.....

Here if a filim star make a stupid comment people are ready to protest, read to die for stars....we need to educate our people about commonsense. Thinking sensibly is more important in this nation. This is not supporting message to any part including congres, BJP or etc this people are looting the common man like anything and still the people not thinking about it still they are following this stupid leaders...

Ok even if we accept that Varun made a stupid comment, who was more stupid the one who unleashed NSA or Varun?

Only shows politicians cannot be trusted with serious law enforcing instruments like the NSA for they will misuse it.

Just imagine what would be the havoc created if Nuclear button was in the hands of such politicians!!

Citizen beware.

by ak on Apr 01, 2009 06:28 AM  | Hide replies

Haji Yakub a minister in Mulayam's Ministry & now a MLA in BSP offered 3 Crore to a person who brings head of Swedish cartoonist alleged to have made cartoons of Muhammad

Anyone dared to put him behind bars? Was he booked for attempt to murder & was NSA imposed on him?

Why such type of double standard?

PM AT COST
by Javed Khan on Apr 01, 2009 06:02 AM  | Hide replies

This man Advani is the worst politician a country could have. All his life he has misguided young leaders and misled them. Now, he wants to be PM at any cost. He is behaving just like Charan Singh who wanted to become PM of country for even a single day before his death. Shame on these politicians.

Mufti Muhammad Sayid passed bill in Kashmir assembly to provide monetary benefits to families of those killed in encounter with security forces which was rejected by Governor of Kashmir.

Is this not a fit case impose NSA on Mufti?

Prime Minister in Waiting - Forever
by Micheal Saldanha on Apr 01, 2009 05:49 AM  | Hide replies

Mr. Advani - please talk about what you can do if voted to power. Please do not divide the country on irrelevant issues to hide you and your party's incompetence. You misguided Varun and see where the poor guy has landed. Kindly stop making Varun's issue a tamasha. All these years we have seen your game plan. Apart from bringing down Babri Masjid what else have you done. Our terrorism problems started after you pulled down Babri Masjid. You promised a temple, you collected billions. Where is the temple, where is the money – Swiss Bank or Stock Market.

Michael,
Cannot agree. The country's problems didnt start with the ddemolition of a 'disputed structure'. It has been happening since independence. I can give you examples like the Kashmiri Pandits issue, Khalistan issues but thats besides the point here. I dont know which part of India you stay in, but if you meet anyone from the eastern regions of India, they will all tell you how the states are become more and more polluted due to refugees coming in and making their own communal groups. We might blame only ULFA but everyone knows about the shady acts performed by the moslem group of Bangladesh, other than a bunch of ignorant people who love to live in a dreamworld. Terrorism doesnt only mean bomb blasts in big cities or Parliament attacks. Try learning about India's problems if you consider yourself a true Indian. We have tolerated enough..we need someone to target other issues too...this removal of poverty is something we are tired of hearing.

And we are sick of reservations for anyone and everyone. We must be having the highest number of reservations in the world. It might sound harsh but people can only take as much.

Micheal,

Yes it was sad Babri Masjid was demolished. But there has been a Rama Temple which existed there and the Mosque was built by destroying it, to establish Mughal Rule. Would you like a Mosque to stand at Bethlehem where Christ was born?

It is an anachronism which needed to be corrected, the effort to do so was noble, and unfortunately the pace of events was such that it went astray. The opposition came from two kinds of Muslims. Ones who felt that one such concession would set precedence for shifting Mosques in hundreds of places. And this fear was genuine. This matter could be politically and legally handled. And has been handled by a Parliamentary resolution.

The second set of opposition came from hardcore Muslims who want to Islamise India and are the ones abetting terror. They brook no concession because for them Islamic law is above Indian law. And it is this militant version which threatened terror and ruin of India which had to be squarely dealt with. In AfPak we are still dealing with them.

The temple is a matter of our deepest faith, and fortunately the future outcome about it is not in the hands of BJP alone, but all parties as spelt by unanimous resolution in the Parliament. Late PVN, as Prime Minister also had promised restoration of the Babri Masjid.

Temple will definitely come, and it shall come with due process of law and upholding the sanctity of our Sanatana Dharma.

This temple is critical for Sanatana Dharma. It would signify in a symbolic sense as well in a real fashion te dissolution of caste hierarchy and religious sanction for social equality amongst all castes in the Sanatana Dharma. It is sure difficult for a Christian like you to understand this issue, may be this verse will give you a literary sense.
--------------

The Flower Girl
--------------------------------------
The bullets on her temple
Extinguished life.
Replacing the natural bubbly face
At once smiling, thoughtful, full of feelings,
We had only seen on TV.
A face subsuming pathos, terrors, grizzles of ghastly beings.
Replacing all this with an image of a box laced.
VIPs bowing to the empty vase.

Not them thakurs alone avenging humiliation
We are all responsible for abetment.
People who bow to this structure of caste
Where was to be the abode of Ram.
