CPM - IRRELEVANT?
by muchanthi swamy on Mar 30, 2009 05:42 PM  | Hide replies

Be it foreign policy or safeguarding the economic interest of the common man or waging a war against corruption or having easy accessability to the common man or protecting the interest of the working class form the unorganised to the organised sector or saving the PSUs of the nation which do an yeoman service to the common man it is the CPM that leads the struggle. It is no wonder that the political merchants and the capitalist media portray the party as a danger to the common man.

cpm is the least corrupt among all parties in India.the wealth of cpm is due to the contributions of millions of its members and its proper utilisation.

When the debate was going on for allowing a second term for our beloved former president Dr.Kalam, it's the communists who thrawted it. They must have feared that with the kind of leadership and great vision at the top, India will be able to beat China. They never heard what the people wanted, instead went ahead and made sure he is not given a second term. This time the people of India will respond in such a manner that the Communists must not win a single seat. Don't vote for them. Let them know people's power.

Otherwise what is their contribution in growth, they are highly non secular, represent only labour, not all classes of society. They are dangerous due to their fanatic approach.

CPM irrelevant after elections ????
by UNNI RAMAN on Mar 30, 2009 05:27 PM  | Hide replies

Sorry I dont agree. Leftists and the 3rd front partners all will once again enter into 5 yrs contract with the UPA and ultimately they all are on to loot the country; They are sure they can repeat this gimmick again and again in the name of keeping BJP away from power.

I don't think CPM has to do anything to 'keep BJP away from power'. It looks like the people will keep them away from power by not granting 272 seats anyway.

The situation of CPM is even worse in Kerala, where its party secretary is overplaying CPM polit Beureo and central committee.
The CPM general secretary Prakash Karat, the new Hypocrat in indian politics may have to face heat from the party after the poll.

no chances bhai... in kerala CPM will 10 seats.. mainly because of poor candidate selection by Congress.. and in WB, they will will 25 seats (minimum) and in whole, the left will grab 45 to 50 seats.. which is more sufficient to play their role in centre.. Otherwise, Congress Or BJP will take our country to Israel / USA hands... we have a living example for us, Pakistan..

Dear Rahul, don't generalize people. The biggest opposition of communists are also from Kerala. In the last 5 years around 70 RSS cadares have been killed by commies.
This time commies are in alliance with PDP,an extreme Muslim front. Our army have killed some of their cadres in Kashmir encounter
