PMK Shift...
by AjS on Mar 26, 2009 04:24 PM

I think PMK still uncertain about their choices so far. I am doubtful that they are still convinced to what they air to the media. I assume they still would change their alliance partner with DMK/Congress if UPA agree to give another MP seat. I think it is a big shift that domestic/state level party getting into king-pin role to demand the National parties to create the uncertainties. I would not be surprised if PMK would shift back to UPA after the poll. We are the victim of these existing politics - we do not have a 'so-called' freedom to choose the party whom should govern India.

TN CONGRESS CAN BE CHEATED THIS WAY
by guru iyer on Mar 26, 2009 04:21 PM  | Hide replies

Now DMK will cleverly act, DMK put its candidates in South where DMDK contests, because spliting of AIADMK votes BY DMDK, help DMK's win, moreover, there is no PMK impact in South of Tamil Nadu.

CONGRESS BEFORE DMK ACTS, YOU ACT FAST. GENERALLY CONGRESS DECIDES ITS CANDIDATES, LAST MINUTES OF LAST DAY OF NOMINATION.

DMK has tasted power in Centre as well, so DMK tries to win as much as DMK candidates in coming election dumping Cong. then joins with NDA like earlier did by DMK.

It is known story
by Periyasamy KS on Mar 26, 2009 04:16 PM  | Hide replies

Every one knew PKK will not part of the DMK ally in this general elections. It would be a great impact for DMK ally if Vijaykant also goes against them, but again Vijaykant can split the votes which favours to AIADMK allies that would be the only gain for DMK and allies.
