"So, why can't the law take its due course? After all, we always take pride in the rule of law as a distinguishing feature of our country"
Cho chweet of the coward author of this article.
The issue here is that "THE LAW IS NOT TAKING ITS COURSE" in this case. Investigations are being blocked by the government. VS knows that sections of the party and government are trying to save Madani for a few votes.
Why did VS personally talk to the DIG on the progress of the investigation? Why did he write a letter to KARAT and company in delhi telling them that this alliance is not good for the party and the state?

The present Left Front Government cannot take any action against Madani and his wife, even if found guilty. On the one hand the Home Minister gives clean chit to both of them and on the other hand the Chief Minister says something different. In such circumstances, how is it possible on the part of the law enforcing agencies to initiate action against Madani?
The 'unnamed' author of this article is indeed a LDF activist and he has his axe to grind to present Madani as 'holier than thou'. The fact is that Madani and his outfit are hardcore militante supporting terrorism in India. In recent evidences presented in the courts, many witnesses (arrested and under Police custody related to terrorist activities recently) has revealed their close connection with Madani and his wife Sufiya Madani. Madani is now trying to wriggle out saying that the the referred "madani" is not himself as as 'mdani' is only a title and there a number of 'madanis' in Kerala. He is a vitriolic orator and can instigate his wards and perhaps hold his ground to disprove others. However, the truth is that he is and will remain a militant. The LDF's sudden love for him (they are supposed to be against any kind of militancy or communalism!) is to turn the table on Muslim League and UDF to wean out Muslim votes in its favor. Muslim League is no doubt communal, but growth of PDP (and NDF) will be an absolute threat to the national security.
Reading the article reveals that why the author is reluctant to 'reveal' his name.
Congress is opportunistic and there is nothing new in the double standards that party keeps with regard to communalism, fundamentalism etc.
But what about the Communist Party? This question is conveniently evaded by the author? If Congress is opportunistic, should the CPM also turn opportunistic, for some electoral gains.
The CPM's calculations is based purely on the assumption that Madani will help them split the Muslim votes and enable the LDF to corner a major chunk of those votes. What they haven't relaised (they will, after the elections!) is that all these 'tamasha' is being played before the literate Keralites, and a vast majority of the traditional vote bank of CPM could go the other way, just because of their vote bank politics.
Add to this, the burden of anti-incumbency, the VS-Pinarayi groupism, SNC Lavalin scandal, Kodiyeri's muscle games, the Corporate culture being brought in the CPM, fight with the other LDF parties, like CPI, Janata Dal, RSP etc.
One need not be a Rocket Engineer to understand to where the present LDF in Kerala is moving!
As reported in a TV Channel, the CPM has made this Madani connection a big issue, to the extent of picking fights with CPI and the Janata Dal, with the intent that the expected defeats in the LS elections can be blamed to these two little parties, rather than poor governance by its Govt. or due to SNC Lavalin case.

But those few are capable of ruining your peace of mind.
Now its the time for Common muslim man to rise. Dont vote on religion , Vote for candidate who deserves... IF this time Madani like people wins, nobody can save our country..
about 90% of the supporters of Left were Ezhavas. they were the backward hindu in kerala. Congress and BJP never wants to give power to them . No issue to raise agaist the present gvnmnt in keral , they are playing Madani card..keralites are intelligent people. they dont want the support of the church and from uppercastes.

Sangeeth,
your post is self-contradictory. If 90% of left are Ezhavas, it means Ezhavas are ruling Kerala now. The chief minister is an Ezhava, if you are particular about castes. And so is the party secretary, and most (many) ministers.
Now, where is the question of Ezhavas not getting power?

mate it is better to convert if supporting terror masterminds like Madani is better than supporting peaceful hindus. if educated people like you cannot come out of caste then it is a lose-lose situation.
