COMMUNIST ARE AGENTS OF CHINESE;CHINA WANTS INDIA DOWN
by sudhakar sk on Mar 25, 2009 01:24 PM

Do we need lecturing from Mr.Karat?;never.

We have seen his stupidest tanturms during the Indian Civil Nuclear Vote;
he together with BJP
wished the most devilish,
resulting media furorver
and sent the Parliament discussion
heat to sky on their
personal ambition of
Mr.Karat and LK Advani.

Ultimately,
UPA Successfully cruised through,
all the artificial hurdles,
created by these two,
well known jokers(KARATADVANI).

Today, thier third class, thrid front is only misguiding
and
dividing the voters.

This is a very dangerous game for
Indian Democracy.

Voters must learn lesseson and teach them a lesseon of thier life, by not voting to any of the parties in this thrid class front.

* Communist leaders in India are real hypocrites.
* They advocate anti-capitalism to Indians.
Almost all Communist leaders have sent their sons and daughters to America as immigrants in the pretext of higher studies.

Karat's message
by vchand on Mar 25, 2009 12:15 PM  | Hide replies

More meaningful and practical approach to present issues facing the country - third front should hold firm to their ideologies and form the govt. to show the countrymen more of patriotism and independent approach to problems instead of seeking US help or guidance for each decision making process. Congress rule has weakened the economy, sold our sovereign rights to US. Pakistan handling after 26/11 is rather inept.

CPM conducts Harthals in Kerala to protest against Isreal's attack on Gaza. Why should the people of Kerala suffer for Isreal's act. Does these harthals in Kerala have an impact on Isreal's attack? Meanwhile the country could see what the CPM leaders say about Major Unnikrishnan's family. When the whole country stood up for a National threat CPM was busy proving that they are royal betrayers.

This is going to be most Messy Election since 1947.
by Raj on Mar 25, 2009 12:04 PM

None of the Political party deserve to win. Will anything change? What they have done for country? Lot of horse trading will take place after election. Many MPs will be sold and in the end they will sell this country. This is true politics of greed where Interest of Nation has no meaning compared to personal interest. Has anything constructive any politicain has ever done for India except increasing thier bank balance. They bark at each other before election and embrace each other after election.

Indian Politicians are like street dogs
by Sanjay Baxi on Mar 25, 2009 11:55 AM

Fighting for space, biting each other, no shame, no apprehension, they do not have any ideology, they do not have any icon, they all have black money. People of India are helpless in their hands, they have either to choose from Tom, Dick or Harry.

kk
secular
by kk on Mar 25, 2009 11:40 AM

B) Is this Government really secular ?

1) When Madrasas are being shut down in Pakistan, the Indian Government is giving them CBSE status !! It is depriving Muslim children in getting secular education. A Madrasa educated person can get a job in any government office without going through the secular education system. Can India afford to have fundamentalists in government departments? Why cannot the government shut down Madrassas and let Muslim children study with the rest?

2) Our Government has given 25 lakh scholarships ONLY to minority students.
What sin have the majority done not to deserve these?
Why cannot poor students of all communities be given scholarships instead of only Muslim children?

3) Thanks to the Congress led Government, out of 36000 temples in Andhra Pradesh, 28000 have closed down in the last five years. Do you want the same trend to continue in other parts of the country? Do you want a Nagaland type of situation in the whole of India? While government controls most of the Hindu temples, the minority community has had full freedom to organize their religious bodies. The minority communities now have the first right over resources. Is this not a blatant violation of fundamental rights of the majority community?

4) Why have the minorities in Nagaland, Mizoram & Kashmir not got the similar privileges like the minorities in other states? Why is the Govt following different rules for different religions?

communist ideology
by nanduri karunakar on Mar 25, 2009 11:33 AM  | Hide replies

One must realise that this nation was born because it chose to tread the middle path, be it religion, or affilliation to an economic ideology. By this very nature the nation accepts all kinds of ideologies, be it leftist, rightist,or any other position anyone chooses to take other then violent positions. The fundamental reason for the continuing existance of this nation is this basic philosophy. The nation from time to time chooses an ideology which is suitable for maintaining its soveriegnity at a particular point of time. This is the advantage India has over most other nations without being typecast as anation with such and such ideology. In a very subtle way all goverments in the past and in the future will always use this method of governing-using secular means, or communist ideas or rightist bjp ideology for ensuring proper governance. But just as India cannot experiment with a complete rihtist government unless such government provides adequate secular counter balances, similarly the nation cannot expect to experiment with a complete leftist ideology without it being counter balanced with not only secular parties but also the parties with the rightist ideology. MR.Karat should understand that secularism as a concept or term arises only when one community has ovverwhelmingly large numbers and the path choosen in 1947 was to ensure ideologies such as yours exist to negate any excessive rightist tilt to anygovt.the comm.can neverlead but usefulas coursecorrectors.

I would like to continue further that the strict adherence of the middle path for too long a period can and will alienate the majority community. increasingly it is being felt that no nation can be as srupuolous as india has been, where secularism is concerned, without harming the interest of the majority community. The fundamentally wrong strategy of inducing fear in minds of the people should they vote for bjp, is bound to backfire. Idont think even the muslims have felt oppressedbecause of the last NDA rule.In fact they too are looking for an answer as to what hinduism means to the hindus themselves. It is good to be idealistic but not when governing a nation is concerned. If Mr.Karat believes that it is ok for a string of regional parties including themselves can join hands and form the national government. Iwould object if only to point out that we do not have the mechanism in place which will prevent the public of not represented states of crying of bias or prejudice against them. at this point of time we are not ready.

You don't mind if some allies take money from Bigshots
by Rajan C on Mar 25, 2009 11:31 AM

Mr Karat,

If you say that if allies take money from someone, Don't you think that those allies will influence you for those big shots if your thirdfront forms a government.

Be positive , the great examples of your ruled states like Kerala and WB are examples before India.

You can think of a painting only when the canvas is there, don't try to tear the canvas itself...
