Rediff Guys if you have nothing to put, then leave the site blank rather then talking about an idiotic party who is still living in the era of Stalin and belive China is next to god..does not understand the basics of economic and National Interest is last in their books...so please give us a break when you sought view of a guys who does not understanf the ethos of being INDIAN...
CPM and Karat have an unparalleled vision, which not many leaders and parties in india possess.
Poor have been ignored, abused and exploited, but no political party has stood up to them, except for CPM.Now even the software engineers are being exploited non stop by the employers. They are made to work for more hours with no holidays even on a sunday and with even less salary. Officially its a 5-day week, but they give you so much work and so little time, that one has to work 7 days a week and 14 hours a day to finish it. And these software professionals seem to be antagonistic towards CPM. I wonder why??
CPM will make 39hr/week as the norm just like western nations.
And guys, the truth of the matter is IF CPM COMES TO POWER IN THE CENTRE,THE LAND/HOUSE PRICES WILL JUST FALL OFF THE CLIFF.THE PRESENT GOVT, WHICH IS SUPPORTING THE BUILDERS WILL BE REPLACED BY CPM which WILL STAND WITH ORDINARY PEOPLE.AND THE ORDINARY PEOPLE INCLUDES EVEN THE SALARIED CLASS.
I PERSONALY WAIT FOR THE DAY WHEN THE LAND/HOUSE PRICES COLLAPSE AND THE HOUSING BECOMES AFFORDABLE FOR COMMON MAN LIKE ME.

Another point that i missed - builders/promoters in CPM ruled WB could do what they have done (caused immense and irrevocable damage to the ecology by building on adjoining wetlands) and charged sky high prices from common people (like you maybe) based on the full and confirmed support of the CPM high command. Pl understand, that your CPM comrades are no better (or worse) than other political parties. Facts hurt - but please be an adult and don't naively believe self seeking politicos, whatever the colour.

Dear Mr Siva Sundaram, pl wake up. For a start why don't you visit the CPM states (let's say West Bengal) and take a look at the 15-16 hr /DAY work schedule of poor labourers from Bihar? This aspect has been discussed on TV and the CPM representatives give banal replies like "this has to be verified / will be looked into" etc. Exploitation of labour even in CPM rules states is just the same as anywhere else.

Then start working and get educated Siva...behaving like a moron and saying that CPM can crash the prices of house is fullish...see China, Russia and Cuba if you want to belive on communism, they are more a bonded labour then a free country....
If CPM comes to centre, yes the prices will fall because even at the fallen prices people will not have work to earn money and in turn to buy the houses!!!!CPM only know to play on sentiment of poor labours and closing manufacturing units....which ensure are labours die by hunger and then CPM can blam the govt...(be it BJP or CONG, dies not matter)...
If you want an example...Calcutta was the hub of entire business since Morya Era...and see what CPM has done in last 25 years to them!!
I strongly agree with Karat that the congress government is worried only about the growth rate and the rich is becoming super rich and the poor is becoming super poor. Majority of our population are rural and under BPL. Some balance should be maintained between the urban and rural population, which can be made possible with a government lead by left parties. So pls vote for the left parties.
Mr Karat I also liked your policy of not taking money from big business houses. If its true then how come in Kerala Mr Jayarajan took 2 crore rupess and is not facing any disciplinary action
During the IPL 1 there was strong reactions to the appearance of cheerleaders in scanty cloths.I donot know whether they will appear in full cloth or usual cloth(as less as possible!) when IPL2 will be played in South Africa
Please keep the sense of proportion. Communists are unpopular party of India. They dont even get 7% of votes Why are you giving this guy so much publicity.
