It seems that Political parties have given instructions to Media for not carrying or coming out with any bad news as it will spoil the sentiment of political atmosphere.
NEW DELHI, March 22 (Xinhua) -- The Congress-led ruling United Progressive Alliance (UPA) might keep power in India after the 2009 general elections, one of the very first polls published by Hindi national daily, Nai Duniya, said on Sunday.
According to the paper, the ruling government is most likely to return to power, as nearly most of the people interviewed believe that the current government has lived up to promises it made when it came to power in 2004.
While 46 percent of the polled said UPA will keep power, 14 percent are uncertain about UPA's future. The remaining 40 percent people believed the chances of UPA returning to power may not be small.
Essential issues about which the poll was conducted included water and electricity supply, road network and terrorism.
The poll was held between March 15 and 20 in rural and urban areas of most of central, northern, western and eastern India.
While 40 percent people believed that terrorism was a main issue this time round in elections, 26 percent people said recession was an important issue.
However, 67 percent said electricity, water and roads remained on top of the agenda.

Looks like the sample was from active members of the Congress party!
readers, never forget this while doing any talking.
If the Congress party was so law abiding, answer this: 1. The PM and the Foreign Minister, the two most important cabinet postings are not even elected by the people .i.e. thru Lok Sabha, they are both Rajya Sabha members, elected by their parties. 2. Why did Congress cancel all sessions of the parliament since the July 22, 2008, this is murder of democracy and goes against the constitution of the land.
It is matter of shame that 60% of the cabinet is not elected by the people. This is the first government in the history of our country which has done this.

Cut the chaddi talk if you can. Seems all your imagination revolves around bathing and toilet habits, but it's cheap dragging it into a discussion forum all the time.

/*It is matter of shame that 60% of the cabinet is not elected by the people. This is the first government in the history of our country which has done this */ this goes on to prove that congress does not give cabinet berths to just any tom, dick or harry do u understand that every MP (once elected) desires to be a cabinet minister and that it is very tough for the ruling party to convince them to not to do so, but congress brings in real people (at the cost dissatisfied MP's) otherwise we would never have a person as qualified as Dr Manmohan Singh as our FM and PM. He stood for LS seat in 1999 but lost. real gems like him never get elected cause they are not shrewd like politicians. do u want qualified leaders to lead us or just any thug to lead. thank GOD that although most of our MP are thugs but atleast our cabinet ministers are qualified people
Madam Sonia Gandhi, does not need a certificate from flock of yellow jurno's like Ms.Sheela Bhatt or for that matter Rediff.com.
Press had said in post emergency Indian National Congress has gone into blue's and Smt. Indira Gandhi and her sons with the family, is running away from country. Rest is history; although thier sworn critics only succeeded in eleminating them physically but not in sprit and Indian National Congress has walked past with pride of Mejestic elephant, while the dogs keep barking!!!.
It will walk miles more with the same pride for Generation to come and dogs will do thier job.

Sick mind and dinial syndrome of yours can go upto post office not beyond.
The trick for the National parties is to develop "Regional Congress or BJP" parties in various states. For that to happen they need a strong & popular leader of some stature belonging to the caste or dalit etc.who can stand up to his opponent if not dwarf him or her.Why Congress could not produce a dalit leader of stature of Babu Jagjivan Ram during the last 30 yrs? To some extent BJP has succeeded in Gujrat, MP etc.and congress also in Rajasthan, MP, Punjab etc. However, the biggest problem is these leaders are not able to attain the 'stature' due to the dominance of 'high command'. Has the Congress allowed Jyotiraditya Scindia,Sachin pilot,Milind deora.....even Rahul to grow in stature ? No. Congress party will have to bring about a sea change in their work culture and heirarchial approach to regain power in states.
I have no personal complain against Sonia. since she is much more decent person than many of our criminal polticians. But her policy of making communist happy and stoping the privatisation and globalisation was very costly for india's growth. we need brave leader who can stick to national interest, no matter what. we dont want one who want to rule for 5 years some how, even at the cost of our growth. Our economic growth is like oxygen, we cant survive without it. we need millions of pvt job created every year and that can happen only if we have brave leader at center not the one who talk goody goody.

She is more decent then other politicians????
Yes...her lying in the affidavit to the EC wherein she has claimed that she is a graduate from Cambridge University is total lie. The University itself has clarified she has not even studied there.
I doubt if any Indian politican has to gone to lying in an affidavit.
The way she took control of the Congress party by locking up the then president Sitaram Kesari ( 80 years then)in a toilet and with her goons threatning him all the time. This is Indian culture and yes she is a decent person. Another, dogface trying to promote the most evil foreigner ever to visit India.

What is the basis of your stupid allegations? Why didn't the EC disqualify her if she submitted false info? What RSS teaches in class is not accepted as universal truth. If Congressmen didn't want Sonia and prefered Kesari, they could have got that. I admire you for your wild though stupid imagination about the toilet and goons!Bollywood definitely needs you!

Mate...you should use your time researching on what I have written, Just surf the internet and see it for yourselves. You will be in for a rude shock. This has been spoken for in the Parliament itself. I dunno how you dont know.
But these are facts and cant be denied. Hint: Dr. Subramanian Swamy was the MP who did the expose. Go to his website and read it all, with scanned copies of her affidavit and the university response of her not studied at all.

Common Man don't have enough money or purchasing power to even invest in eatable items.
When they don't go for purchasing--- Manufacturing sectos sales goes down---- India Inc tries to revive market by lowering thier product rate--- If no improvement comes-- Manufacturing sector further lowers its product price-- so inflation is calculated on the price of product.
Why purchasing power of common man missing- because they have a) No house and pays 50% of their income on either paying EMI or house rent. b) Another reason can be they don't have job so they are very judiciously and stingingly purchasing items.
So solution lies :
a) Making house affordable . Rs. 5 lakhs flat with 1000 sq.ft area in Tier II or III cities. So that people own their house and can save maximum of their income and then invest in other items. b) Also, keep the product prices in check .
Inspite of knowing all these, if parties are not asking builders to crash their property prices , it simply means builders have appointed them as their real estate brokers and political parties has a share in this booty.
