Dr. Ambedkar when he wrote the constitution, wanted reservation's for Dalits / SC / ST etc. for a specific period. He reasoned that the government of India must ensure that the backward poor people are brought to a level by that time that they can compete in the modern world. However, unscrupulous Congress politicians prolonged this for their own benefits. Result, today the dalits etc are where they are and the dalit politicians are billionaires.

no the issue was being eased out peacefully but for VP Singh. when VPS broke away from congi he had vowed to bring out who got the payoffs in the bofors deal. when nothing was in sight and he was getting cold shoulder from his own party, he use he mandal commission repot for reservation. the media called it mandal/kamandal issue. it was VPS who brought tghe issue to the front which resulted many students burning themselves (immolating).

Now also, you people will stay away at a km from a backward person, ill treat him and prevent him from doing any religious rituals. The other religions take advantage of this. Dear eCran... 1. I am not JGN 2. I first heard about the caste system in details, when I was following up media reports on the first time I cast my vote. 3. It shocked me beyond belief that we Indians have done this to our own people. My family does not believe in any caste system, my parents ensured that this virus never entered our brains. I have many pals who belong to those classes, I learnt about this fact only 5 years ago after having known then for almost 30 years. I am ashamed that Congress politicians have sullied the image, the work of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. I want justice amongst others for the golden words etched in our constitution, that is why I want the destruction of Congress party.

But its worth reading, Mahesh Jethmalani thoroughly exposes vote bank politics leading to terrorism and the subsequent innocent deaths since 2004. He also kills the myth of the Congress evil government that they were better then NDA. The fact remains that they have not done anything in the past 5 years
