It is very dearer for the ears of listeners & attractive at least for some of the gullible voters to hear such schemes announced to benefit the poor & middle class, but its effective implementation & sustenance are million dollar questions to be answered convincingly by the TDP.Political parties can promise any thing including moon, but much depends on their feasibility for implementation with all sincerity. When Babu says that the amounts of CTS would be transferred to the credit of bank a/cs of any female member of the family, does it mean that the eligible people who do not have female members in their family are not entitled to the benefit? The immediate & baffling question is as to where from TDP gets such whopping amounts on a month to month basis while all the successive govts' struggle to cope with the deficit budgets. It is again a section of the general public-say the tax payers who need to to bear the brunt/incidence of such allurements offered by the political parties. It is quite surprising that Naidu should value ,so much, the scheme authored by his son who is nothing in politics as of now just because the latter happens to a product of Stanford University. In these days of "rising sons" of politicians, there is no wonder if Naidu too falls in line & pampers his son;he appears to be taking lessons from his predecessors like late Chenna Reddy,Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy, Janrdhan Reddy & now Rajasekhar Reddy whose "love" for his son Jagan Mohan Reddy is the 'talk of the town'.
After 60 years of freedom, India has some of the worst human development indicators in the world. Recession along with the strengthened communal, divisive forces is shaking the foundations of our great nation. It is time for every one of us to stand on our feet. It is time for us to seek the answers to why our country has plunged into this shameful shape. Human development indicators shows a bleak, sad state of affairs : • 230 million people are undernourished • More than half of India’s women are anaemic • 40 per cent of children under three years are underweight • 2,19,000 habitations have no access to clean drinking water • 39 per cent of adult population is illiterate • 77 per cent of the population spends less than Rs. 20 a day • The share of wages in the organised industrial sector is among the lowest in the world
Rulers might tell us about the high GDP India has and forget about the statistics. But what good is it to have a high GDP when the vast majority of people are not getting the fruits of development. Is the purpose of development to make billionairs? Or to give decent life to common public? Statistics shows that the disparity (difference) between the rich and the poor, the rural india and the urban india have increased to dangerous proportions after the senseless economic policies the congress and the bjp govts followed.

vote for the people who cheered when china attacked india ? no thanx!
Rs.36,000 Crore to remove poverty at whose expense? What would be the figure if all states' population is covered under the scheme?
Why can't all parties donate from treasury as & when they desire without a mandate to do so? All parties should in fact follow this brilliant(!) Stanford Graduate (Check his I.Q.)!!!!! What are Cambridge & Harvard Graduates doing then?
Why is this not coming under the purview of Election Commissioner's Model Code of Conduct as they are promising Govt. Money to get elected?

People will stop working. Just like they did in the US and UK. Live on charity. As it is, men in rural India don't move their butts. Ache bhale mehnat mushakkat karne waale logo ko nikamma bana do. Sahi hai ...

Even the candidates are not announced for all the seats. Nominations are yet to be filed. I suggest that you keep these statistics with you scribbled on a piece of paper and not post speculations on the Message Board.

Sukumar Truth is always bitter People are fed up with UPA. Farmers suicide, stravation deaths, price rise, unemployment, job loss, share market down, bomb blasts every where in the country, Islamic Terrorism in the peak, creation of mini pakistan and mini bangladesh inside india by successive govts. of congress and UPA for vote, crores of Bangladesi and Pak intruders were given vote Identity cards and citizen ship in India who are vote bank of congress/UPA, kashmiri pandits are living other parts of India as refugees., UPA questioned even the existence of God shri. Ramji and bent to break the Ram Sethu. These are the main achievements of Congress for the last 55 years. Congress made India a Pakistan in Making. The wind has already started in favour of BJP/NDA. This time BJP alone will cross 200 mark.
In UP people are now fed up with Maya, Mulayam & Amar Singh. In the last byelection of assembly Maya lost due to low percentage of voting and Upper cast voters bramihns stayed indoor and not come to vote. Now the uppercaste voters who voted for BSP are now drifting away from BSP and this LS election they are going to vote for BJP. This is the ground situation in UP now. Congress is only in few gandhi family seats. Wind has already started in UP in favour of BJP and its alliance with Ajit Singh Lokdal also will help BJP to get more vote of kissan and more seats. It will be a 3 way neck to neck fight between BJP, SP and BSP in U.P this time. In M.P. BJP is going to sweep the

In M.P. BJP is going to sweep the LS with the popularity of CM. His development activities sand welfare schemes are going well with people of MP. MP is going to another Gujrat incase of Development. The same is the case with Chattisgarh. BJP will also sweep Chattisgarh. In Maharastra the modi is the Incharge for BJP and his campagin will give big results in Maharastra as people are fed up bomb blasts and congress/ncp govt. in Maharastra. In Orissa there will be a three way fight almost neck to neck between BJD, BJP & Congress. In 2004 BJP got 19.3% vote and BJD 30.02%. The percentage of BJP was less as they fought for less no. of seats. This time BJP vote percentage will increase as people want a BJP/NDA Govt. at the centre. Going with communists will cost BJD very much
A very good scheme that would scrap the need of the middleman in the process. Start of a sort of social security for poors in Andhra. Excellent idea Mr Naidu.

what is the novelty in this, the CTS is a very old practice and CBN has not innovated. BTW, this kind of freebies and subsidies have to be substantiated by those who are promising on what financial basis they can offer. Whose money are these thugs distribute?
The Day Indians realize that there is no such thing as a 'Free Lunch' we can see honest politicians competing for votes. As long as we are lured by free power, free tv, reservations etc. we are doomed. There is nothing free, if one persons has to get something extra, another has to lose it and so on till the first guy also loses something to enrich somebody else.

exactly ... i wonder if indian political leaders are so naive that they don't understand this simple 'nothing is free' concept? i think these political leaders will not understand as long as percentage of hard working people with integrity suffer silently. the only solution to stop these thugs to distribute free things to get votes:
Everyone must stop working and start looking for those free things. in a democracy, only number of votes count and not the quality of votes.

The total 237 should be divided by 237 and that is what Congress is going to get.
If the money is spent from his family funds it is fine. But if it is being spent from tax payers money, then it beholds saint Purandaradasa's one of lyrics Keraya Neerannu Kerage challi ( water from pond is returned to the pond), Politicians have taken for granted the foolishness and idleness of the indian electorate who wants to enjoy luxury at others cost.
'VOTE FOR TDP - NO NEED TO COOK FOOD AT HOME' This might be another election manifesto of TDP and much more to come shorty. Power hungry politicians can promise anything to the people to get their vote, WE SHOULD BE AWARE OF THESE DOGS otherwise the election promise made by these politicians will come true but the otherway around ' NO NEED TO COOK FOOD AT HOME, BEG IN THE STREET'
Mr Naidu is going to 'create' more poor people who will want these handouts. We have already seen communities wanting to class themselves as 'dalits' to get these handouts. And it all comes out of taxpayers money.
