Ramadoss knew the winners of election in coming may-09. Becase always he took decision about alliance with winners from 1996-2007. now also he know about winning alliance in TN. He will decide to alline with "WINNERS" in coming election, that may AIADMK alliance.

They will retain their Health Ministry and Railway Ministry in forthcoming NDA Government.
Ramdoss is not clear in his stand on Srilankan Tamil issue. AIADMK which maintained stoick silence over the issue, just made a symbolic gesture, when Jaya observed a day's fast just to hoodwink the voters. Where PMK stands on the issue,she is steadfastly opposed to the cause of Elam vis-a-vis LTTE, a banned organisation in India. Now that the Tigers are cornered and are fast losing to Lankan forces, the issue of loss of Tamil civilians is the major cause of concern. People of the area are tired of the fighting which is going on for the past four decades and they wanted a peaceful north-east Lanka. Tamils are returning back to the territories now under the hands of the govt forces. Those who are caught in the cross fire and are held hostage by LTTE are still suffering. Govt of India has prevailed over the Srilankan Govt to provide security to the Tamils living in these areas and to rescue those trapped in the cross fire. The lawyers staged a rare demonstration that almost brought the Madras High Court to a stand still for over a month on the issue of Srilankan Tamil issue. This issue is so sensitive and important that no political party in TN could ignore it and for that matter whoever forms the next govt at the Centre. It is therefore essential to keep the powder dry. On the issue of development alone, DMK is not likely to win. Muslims are also disenchanted with the DMK regime for it failed to deliver what was promised to them. DMK has to build bridges with this community.

IS DMK IS CLEAR IN THEIR STAND ON SRILANKAN TAMIL ISSUE??? THEY ARE THE MOST CONFUSED PARTY IN TN, ON THE ONE HAND TO SAVE THEIR GOVT. ON THE OTHER HAND THEY KNOW THEIR ELECTION FORTUNE IS SLIPPING???

The DMK has time and again proved that it does not have a consolidated unified view of things. Like an actor who dons two roles, the DMK always projects two faces like that of a split personality. The PMK on the other hand is emerging as a reckonable party in its own way. This election will result in a landslide victory for ADMK PMK MDMK without any doubt! I wish junior Ramadoss is made the home minister!

Both the DMk and ADMK alliance has parties that are completely mis-aligned on principles. I have never seen such a worse situation. Pro LTTE MDMK is with anti LTTE ADMK. Similarly pro LTTE VCK (Thiruma) is with Congress! Everything else is possible except that ADMK and DMK can not align with each other!!
My request to all Tamilians: Plz don't support any party. All are complete frauds. Also, dont say 'Kalaignar' or 'Amma'. Plz say/ write 'Karunanidhi' or 'Jayalalaitha' since you have self respect.

DMK need not mourn the loss of PMK as it would be compensated with the entry of DMDK in DPA. Cong would be hard pressed to rope in Vijaykanth which is so vital, if they wish to repeat the feat of the last elections where they won 40-0. This time, the AIADMK dream to repeat the same feat, which is impossible to achieve given her past records and the over all achievement of the Cong in the country. Besides, PMK is the most unreliable partner. Ramdoss is not interested in the welfare of the state but he is more concerned with prospect of his son retaining the Health Ministry in the next elections. That is why he is moving towards AIADMK. The results would definitely going to upset the apple cart of both AIADMK and PMK. Even they both combine win some seats, they are not going to be a deciding factor at the formation of next Govt at the centre. NDA is a divided house, with hate speech and dissidents taking a toll, BJP is in tatters. With top brass leaders like Jaitely and Rajnath not seeing eye to eye over Mittal issue, it is going to be a hard task for PM in waiting Advani to fulfill his 8 year old dream of becoming the PM of the country. He has to wait but age is not on his side. He is already 81 and his party is not in a position to stop UPA's juggernault. NDA with no clear cut programme, is already facing division with Sena favouring NCP leader Sharad Pawar for PM upsetting the Advani camp. Though they have started the campaign jointly in Mumbai Sena-BJP would stand to lose.
