Welcome to 3rd Front
by mailme alladin on Mar 20, 2009 07:19 PM  | Hide replies

Hey, one more party to PMK.
3rd front will be the bigest front after election. A faction from Congress and BJP will support them to form the govt.
I hope they get the opportunity to rule India for a full term and they will work towards the fundamental problems like education, health, corruption than talking big.
Why the hell, India needs a moon mission when crores of people are not getting enough food.

That will happen only if NDA is somewhere close to majority, which is very unlikely.

Sixty years after we became independent, 60% of our womenfolk still defecate in the open air -- thanks to our "socialist pattern of society".

With current pattern, the number will grow to 80%.
Here is the development pattern:
Boom
====
poor(70%) remain poor
middle class (25%) feel grow from middle to upper middle.
Rich people (10%) become richer.

Recession
=========
poor(70%) becomes poorer
middle class (25%) raped and become lower middle.
Rich people (10%) become richer.

Do you want this development model.

No. We want socialistic pattern of society where you can have a good life if you kow-tow to the political leaders.

By the way, can you name a single successful socialistic economy in the world?

Well, I'm not arguing in favour/against the socialistic economy. To handle the basic issues of education, health or corruption, you don't need any ism. But India failed in handing these basic issues under any ism. The new govt. (hopefully led by 3rd govt.) should handle this on highest priority.

Tamilians NOT madrasis
by Vivek Chandra on Mar 20, 2009 07:18 PM

The people of Tamil Nadu do not like mainstream parties. They want to preserve their separate identity. This message is missesd by many readers here.

Congress or BJP or even third front can make any inroads in TN only with support of of a local party. The seats will go to these local parties and not to their national aliance partners.

Treat Tamilans with dignity. They are not madrasis.

ELECTION
by aaaa bbbb on Mar 20, 2009 07:17 PM  | Hide replies

AIADMK with congress is always a big winner and good for TN particularly for less corruption and decency.
Unfortunately it is the non-cooperation of JAYA that made Congress to go their arch enemy DMK inspite of Rajiv murder. Politics make strange bedfellows.

The congress-DMK alliance will be taught a lesson this time, in Tamilndu. If the local congress leaders and MK think that people will be always against Jayalalitha, it is a dream. You cannot win all the elections by giving freebies from the govt. money. People are watching how this politicians mint money. Dont dream of a 40/40 win as in the last time. I am born to a chaste Tamil. How can I vote an alliance that is the backbone for the death of Tamils. This alliance do not even have the guts to save our own fishermen from the atrocities of Sri Lankan Navy.

If you accepts this as genocide, kindly listen to the Sri Lankan Minister who accepted in parliament that all these victories (i.e.genocide) is due to the support from Indian Govt. Ask your Pranab sahib, in the name of GOD whether he is willing to refuse this statement. If your RTI act is genuine, get the answer. Everyday Tamils are dying for no fault of theirs. The time has come for Congress to answer our prayers to GOD.

Congress???
by rohit Rj on Mar 20, 2009 07:12 PM  | Hide replies

Congress is humiliated by its allies, even the allies do not have faith that congress has done anything to which people can vote.

Wat r congress achievements in these 5 years, making shivraj patil as home minister for 4.5 years, just for vote bank, politicizing issues like malegaon blasts, antuley's remarks, not able to provide adequate security to the Indian public, making India a soft state, they r a complete pathetic package, for wat values do we vote for congress.

They do not have any capable leaders, what their base is Indian biased media, especially the channels like NDTV, who is always running 24x7 anti-BJP campaign.

Look at Gujrat it is growing by 12% in such a recession period, why that is not shown on channels like NDTV. Indian public want to see our country developed and with strong internal security.

This congress govt. is a total faliure in both the departments, that is why after ruling center for 5 years, still they r not confident of reaching three figures mark. Indian public this is the high time for the change we have to vote for BJP so that they win with complete majority, enough of this congress. Bring BJP to power and see the difference.

Congress alliance will get all 40 Sheets in TN again
by RAVI NDREN on Mar 20, 2009 07:07 PM  | Hide replies

Congress is the 3rd largest party in tamilnadu after DMK & ADMK. They secure 20% votes in this state. So, they are the deciding factor to whom to win or to loss. This time, Congress & DMK & DMDK will win all 40 Sheets. Advance greetings to Sonia-ji & G.K.Vasan-ji

They have officially one crore party members in the congress. Do you believe? They can't get 3lakh votes if they contested all seats.

PMK, DMDK must be isolated
by Ananda Raj on Mar 20, 2009 07:06 PM  | Hide replies

PMK, DMDK are weeds in the democracy to spoil crops. Both party leaders made hundreds of hundreds of crores in short period.

PMK is not derserve to allot not more than two seats. DMDK is not fit for any seat. Both paries bid the votes which are polled in the last election for money to cong , BJP to the value of Rs100 crores. They think, the voters who voted for them are slaves to sell to another. They are exposed now.

BJP loved them to allign but they discarded them. BJP has chance to coordinate many localised parties which can yield 5 seats easily if they spend money Rs.100 crores, that was alloted to buy Vijayakant.
