I am not convinced that a highly educated and articulate person like Varun Gandhi could have made such a remark on a community.He seems to have fallen a victim to a well laid conspiracy hatched by his political opponents. Chakravarty pranab (Kolkata)

Ther is sceintific methods to prove whether it is a tampered one or not... if he intends to prove himself innocent...
Interestingly so far he didnt tried putting in that angle, other than blindly denying it...What it means ???

See ashwin, hind uism is altogether a different reli gion, not like isl am or chris tia nity. Protraying Rama as a God is not accepted by true hin dus (ved antis). If you know, Ved antism is the original religion, those who believed in vedas (and not in any epics or smrutis).
Search for Arya Samaj, Dayanand Saraswati, Satyarth Prakash. Satyarth Prakash is written by dayanand saraswati. Read sections on idol worship, incarnation and all. Then you will see what is worship, God in Hinduism.

What these people are interested in and their intention is different. It is not ignorance, it is intentional :)
Look at the way taliban works. They had infact defined a new ISLAM for their needs is imposing it on others.
Look at Gita, Sankya Yoga openly rejects the existence of God.
Hindusim - what these people defines should be viewed as a neo-Hinduism, which none of indians experienced before.
Veda, Upanishads, smritis are out of place in this new religion. Epics defines the new religion.
Taliban also does same trick, they knows the fact that they cannot trigger violence just by 'Quran'. So they started adding venoumous materials, as appendices ...and claimed to be authentic...!!!
Infact this is a dangerous game..which puts everyones survival into toss...
