These elections will throw up a third front Govt., with outside support.BJP has not grown in proportion to Cong's decline. So the regional parties have taken up the space.Congress will get 110-125 seats.BJP will get 135-145 seats.Rest all goes to Third Front and others. The national parties BJP and Congress have to blame themselves.By going for short term alliances with regional parties they've destroyed their own future. Congress is being kicked by SP,RJD,NCP. BJP is being kicked by BJD,Shiv Sena. Rather it should have been the other way round. These regional parties are harmful for India.Congress and BJP should ensure they are finishes politically. Third Front will form the next Govt.

Where was your software during last K/taka elections? You were claiming that Devegowda's party will win. What happened?

Unfortunately, since we developed it together and i knew you would not put my name to it, i wrote a wrong code, it is UPA = NDA & NDA = UPA

No wonder software industry is on a downturn. Your software is wrong. NDA-170 seats UPA-140 seats Third Front-190 seats. Govt. to be formed by third front.
INC and CPM leaders visit bishops and Mullahs/Thangals in Kerala routinely to take blessings (read 'votes').Only Latin catholic members contest in Ernakulam. Bishops even send list of candidates to the leaders. Christians are the preferred candidates in most central travancore constituencies; an muslims in malabar. Now Madani speaks for CPM; even against CPM's ally CPI. Long live secularism - but unfortunately the term will live only till Hindus are the majority in India.
It would be an utter foolishness and a himalayan blunder, if the citizens of India vote Third Front to make Mayavati PM. Can any one tell me answer to my question: What is the credibility for this corrupt lady?
Re: Maya

and just in case she becomes the PM, there will be olympic style b'day celebrations on her b'day eve and the joy and pomp will carry on for a month. every year, officially 15 days of holidays would be declared pre and post her b'day. OMG!

Who is not corrupt this day? SOnia allowed Italian Quattrachhi to withdraw money from the frozen account by not extending the Ban. Sonia is most corrupt. Let an Indian lady become the PM. Behenji Zindabad

At least she is more fit than Manmohan Singh.Who wants a PM who is diabetic and is lying on the operation table with open heart ! Gosh we want a fit leader.
TVRS, hats off. You have put the numbers in a perfect perspective.
Folks, a Congress-led coalition will be abck in power in May. As TVRS demonstrates so beautifully, there's no way this can be stopped.
A strong opposition is essential in a democracy. I'm an atheist, so I hold no brief for either the Hindu, Muslim or Christian hardliners, but I understand the need for a balnace of power. The BJP is the only party capable of some meaningful opposition.
For this, they have to rid themselves of the over-70s i.e. the Advanis, Jaswants, Joshi's, etc, and get in a younger leadership layer. Modi will never make it although he has a huge base, so let the bloodbath between the Jaitley's and the Swaraj's etc begin!
They also need to get rid of their affiliation with the Ram Sene type crazies and the VHP/Bajrang Dal lunatics. When they are able to consolidate moderate Hindus on an inclusive agenda, they will have a chance at power.

Ashok Rao has taken a deep breath. Now go and sleep believing that TVR Shenoy and wake up after the general elections... Poor shenoy will not be there........not even his trash.
Anybody who had read his column right through can understand what he stands for
Poor fellow does not even understand that, there is no such third front existing as of now. Which shall be formulated only after the elections.
And that loafted brain does not even digest if PM could be elected after the verdict. He wanted the PM candidate could be announced right away.
If at all thrid front is formulated, it is defenitely worth as people are getting a chance to look upon something other than congress and BJP.
That means alternative programmes, alternative ideas, pro-poor policies, independent foreign policy and so on

Left's opposed several bills in house.Among those four bills save us to some extent in this down time. All the bills are introduced by Congress that could ruin us.
1) Bill for giving rights to foreign banks to buy indian banks. --- It could result in sinking Indian Bank along with foriengn banks 2) Bill for investing providend fund in stocks. --- It can ruin our saving. 3) Bill for investing life insuarance investments in stock --- It can ruin our saving. 4) Bill for opening our economic door completely to foreign player --- It could drain our money easily to other country in this down time.
Sorry that I could not provide the exact bill name. But thank Left for opposing these bills and vote for 3rd and only alternative.

1) There are no poor or rich in communism. Everyone is a goat waiting to be severed. 2) All the communist leaders (dada) I know of. 3) Communism is anti Capitalism. When capitalism falls people return to roots. 4) Agitations are not carried out by communists... but by common man (ofcourse he is carrying a red flag .. so what?)
