NON-COOPERATIVE-PARTY
by NK SHAIKH on Jun 03, 2009 02:25 AM  | Hide replies

NCP's STAND IN RECENT LOK SABHA ELECTION WAS V.SHAKKY HE WAS UNCERTAIN TO WHOME HE WANNA LEND HIS SUPERLATIVE SUPPORT,HE WAS RIDING WITH OVER CONFIDENCE ON 2 BOATS,AND FELL FLAT ON FACE., SHARAD PAWAR HAS ACTUALLY LOST HIS MAGIC AND CONTROL OVER THE MASSES,HE'S SEEN MORE AS A BUSINESSMAN WHO CALCULATES HIS DECISSION KEEPING HIS OWN GAINS AND BENEFITS IN MIND,1 KEY REASON WHY CONGRESS WANTS TO SIDELINE SHARAD PAWAR IS HIS GROWING INFLUENCE IN COMMODITY TRADING,WHICH HAS DRASTICALLY MADE A BIG HOLE INTO PEOPLES POCKETS,CONGRESS WANTS TO TAKE EVERY ADVANTAGE OF THEIR THUMBING VICTORY AND I THINK THIS TIME ROUND WE MUST SUPPORT CONGRESS'S CAUSE..YES ITS FOR THE BETTERMENT OF OUR COUNTRY.

Congress In Maharashtra Assembly ?
by Singh Shivdev on Jun 03, 2009 01:20 AM

In fact Congress is upbeat about the division of BJP-SENA Votes by Raj Thackeray .And whatever Congress is doing & thinking is for the welfare of party in long run.In fact a willy Politician like Pawar needs such treatment as he was that man who had created euphoria for joing with any alliance after Lok Sabha Polls. It was un fortunate for him that his party fared for below than expectations.Untill & Unless Shiv Sena Units of Uday & Raj reunite there is very grim chance of NDA coimng to Power. The only alternative for Pawar will be :
1.Fight alone and get dumped for the next 5 years.
2.Merge with Congress and pass on his legacy to his daughter .
3.Or fight as UPA with lesser seats than Congress and forget about his willy moves .
4.Otherwise a person travelling in two boats never reaches the shores.

the writer is in awe of Pawar
by S K on Jun 03, 2009 01:07 AM  | Hide replies

the writer is in awe of Pawar, the article could have been more objective...if congress goes alone and looses that will result in fewer seats for NCP also..which will leave them out of state and with not much power in center... pawar is just few years away from taking governorship of some southern state..

I am in full agreement with You.I forsee a position where NCP will join hands with Raj Thackery ,then secular votes of Pawar will transfer to Congress party .As no secular person will go where either Raj or Uday is there.
Whatever Mr.Deshmukh and Mr.Chavan has said is 100 % correct ,Mr.Pawar will have to bite the dust in his own backyard.

this clearly shows your lack of knowledge in the Maharashtra state politics. First of all, let me correct you Mr. Singh that the name is 'Uddhav' and not uday. secondly, who ever told you that raj thackeray's party is communal and 'not secular' is as oblivious as you are in this domain. its true, that NCP would loose few seats in the state, but that wont be on the grounds of secularism or whatever you like to call it. Next Time: please pay attention to your own state politics and if you do want to interfere, please do your homework.

Vilasrao is Cabinet Minister so that Chavan (Ashok) can be left alone otherwise he would be trying to get the Kursi in Mumbai Samja karo yaar

My dear he is very big poitician than you consider him.It was he who encouraged Raj Thackery and see the results ,Congress got more seats than 2004.
Those who consider that he sits and farts are ignorant that he is a politician not a priest.

death of parties
by SUNIL MORE on Jun 03, 2009 12:12 AM

it looks pawar is going to merge ncp with congress and will try to have smooth cake walk for daughter. ajit pawar will be ditched like raj thakery. many veteran congressman in the state are likely to be defeated in coming assembly elections.
only if new candidates are fielded by congress or ncp, they will have chance to win, other wise we will see death of parties like ncp, shivsena or mns in future
