dear Khalid, Modi has been splashed with mud by his opponents only. The stories have been proved to be exaggerated by paid NGOs like Teesta to gain political mileage.
And even if I accept the charges, then Rajiv Gandhi should be condemned equally. Forgot how he justified anti-Sikh riots?

People of Gujarat elect Modi term after term. Imaam of Ahmedabad days 'Modi is good for all'. Modi has been receiving the 'Best CM' award for continuous 5 years. Modi has rained progress to Gujaratis. People of Gujarat think Modi as their leader.

And still Congress is crying Modi Modi Modi.

Modi is not Modi, he is our Moses.

Very true Khalid. If Modi had been let off by the CBI after the Supreme Court indicts him, there is a red corner warrant for him internationally and most importantly when the BJP is in power in the Center.

But unfortuntately, none of the above conform to Modi. All along he has been accused by various political parties, vested interests, tainted NGO's and such.

So please make a comparison between comparables, not apples and oranges.

Very true khalid, Modi should be punished only when the CBI has any case against him or the supreme court rules that he was responsible for the gujurat riots. But then dont you think that buddhadeb bhattacharya the CM of west bengal should also be indicted for the Nandigram killings and massacre that occured under his leadership ? Should farooq abdullah be punished and indicted for the thousands of kashmiri hindu pandits who were killed and dislocated by muslim militants under the rule of the national conference ? Shouldn't the CBI file a chargesheet against rajiv gandhi for riging the 1987 J&K elections which led to the uprising of muslim militancy in J&K ?

If AG gives a report regarding OQ that no use having RCN to CBI-what can the poor government do but to accept it. After all CBI is an independent body!

I feel if things continue like this soon you will have a revolution like 1977's JP revolution! Mark my words!

CBI is made up of cops who will do anything for their political masters.Later one of them will become a Governor. This is how it works. You do my bidding and I will reward you says the big leader/politician.There is no such thing as rule of law for them. They will go about talking of nation building and we will have to vote for them. One is not at all surprised as this is happening everywhere. As if Navin Chawla was not put there for the very same reason. This is true of every post at Delhi and in the States. The very best officers never make it to these top posts. They wil languish in non sensitive posts. Then MMS types will talk of administrative reforms and Veerappa Moily will talk about merit in the bureaucracy. This whole thing has become a sham. But even so this act of withdrawing the notice is truly brazen.Hats off to the Cong for sinking institutions to a new low below the earth.
