QandA QandA
Were the Gujarat Riot incidence fabricted by Teesta?
by QandA QandA on Apr 28, 2009 01:41 AM

This is what the INVESTIGATION HAS REVEALED...

Muslims who hate Modi based on the reports printed by Tehelka should investigate for themselves...

Gujarat Godhra reports were first covered by Tehelka based on charges proclaimed by Teesta Selvad.. But Today the Supreme Court after years of investigation concluded with evidence that Teesta's charges were false at best fabricated....

"Referring to another instance that exposed the Citizens for Justice and Peace’s much ‘trumpeted’ charges, Rohtagi said the SIT investigation found untrue allegation about a gangrape of a pregnant woman Kauser Bano, whose stomach was allegedly pierced by sword and her foetus killed."

"Even the instance of dumping of bodies into a well at Naroda Patiya and a charge of the police allegedly shielding accused persons in murder of a British national was found to be untrue, Rohtagi said."

Any good scheme from BJP is bad for media
by annamalai on Apr 28, 2009 01:02 AM

Yeddyurappa’s budget had encouraging news for several sections of the population — farmers, high school students, officials, researchers, patients, alike.

The decision to send 1000 farmers abroad on a study tour will expose them to different types of farming methods. Further a provision of Rs 750 crores as a support price for farm produce is good news.

Yeddi has given a fillip to ornamental fishery and has given an impetus to the establishment of goshalas for the protection of milch cattle. Extending free power to farmers with upto 10 HP pumpsets, introducing e-tendering to bring in transparency, allotting Rs 2 crore for reviving the river Arkavathy and establishing 500 foot bridges in the Malnad to bring connectivity to remote villages, are all heartening to note.

CM also deserves to be congratulated for providing free health insurance to poor families. Another noteworthy point, is the support given to the development of sandalwood cultivation, green villages and medicinal plants

BJPs Novel scheme – What did congress do in 60 years
by Lopesh S on Apr 28, 2009 01:01 AM  | Hide replies

Ladli Laxmi Yojana scheme was started by the BJP government in MP in 2006. In a very short time, it has proved to be one of the most successful social welfare schemes in the history of the state.

Under the scheme, the state government buys saving certificates of Rs 6,000 each year for five consecutive years for every girl born in a family.

The girl gets Rs 2,000 after she completes her Class 5, another Rs 4,000 after she completes Class 8, Rs 7,500 after she completes the Class 10, Rs 200 per month in her 11th standard and a lumpsum amount of Rs 1,18,000 after she enters the 12th standard or, alternatively, attains the age of 18.

The principal aim of the scheme is to eliminate school dropout among girl students and to encourage them to study at least upto pre-college level.

This is what I (as an Indian) call development of girl child; unfortunately no media will project this, but will project BJP as T@liban if some Sene beats a girl who goes to a pub only coz it happened in a state ruled by BJP. This bias is going to be the undoing of the Congress

Congress made sure that India progresses well as a democratic and secular nation. Unlike our struggling neigbours, India is on the path to become a developed nation. Thanks to the good governance we had in last 60 years. If we had BJP ruling us for few more years, India would have been split into different 50 countries. Brahmins wud have Brahminstan, Dalits wud have Dalitstan, Kshatriya wud have kshatriyastan, rajputstan, madrasistan, andhrastan, mallustan and so on. We Indians do not want the service of cunning and fraud leaders of BJP. pagiztan requires the service of Advani and other BJP leaders. Please quit our country and go to pagiztan.

The root cause of some of the biggest problems in india is inter-religion harmony. Any growth which does not promote this kind of harmony is useless as soon it will get eroded by riots, and terrorists. Unless BJP sheds its image of being pro-hindu, it isn't a good option for India. Don't tell me now that BJP is not pro-hindu...varun gandhi incident is a case in point

Nitin is right. BJP may be a good party and one can see they are definitely doing a good job of opposition party in the parliament, but they have to promote themselves as Indian rather than Hindu party if they want to become the ruling party.

this is another Congress agenda... the Golden quadrilateral started by Vajpayee gov was for all INDians... Sarva shikshana Abhiyaan was for all Indians... Modi's dev in Gujrat is for all INdians... so, forget that BJP is a hindu party... its a Congress propoganda of minority vote bank politics... just vote for BJP for stronger India... look at Gujrat... BIhar... MP as examples...

There is a very strong correlation between development works done by Mr. Vajpayee and that it being done for all india and its growth. But they also do things which irks the muslim community and hence directly helps the foreign financers of terrorism to raise anti-India sentiments in India. There was no need for Babri Masjid demolition and Godhra train killlings should have been dealt in a constitutional manner rather than arousing people for a riot.

82 riots was wrong and so is the Godhra riot. I would like to see both Modi and titler and all other such people in jail. But, no one can use 82 to justify their acts or save their face. When a political party is in power, it has immense power to expedite both police investigation and the judiciary. If modi is a good leader he should have obeyed law, rather than breaching it himself. Why didn't he expedited the Godhra train investigation then? Tit for tat resulted in 26/11 and that's why I say unless the root cause is dealt with, this will never end.

REAL FACE OF biased INDIAN MEDIA.
by Kamadhenu on Apr 28, 2009 01:01 AM  | Hide replies

Every media is owned by overseas Christian organisations. It was difficult to believe but the Election coverage by TV Media is prooving the point.
BUT NOW IT IS PROVED BEYOND DOUBT.
(1)No TV Media aired the News on the suicide of Senior Vadhera. If any such death had
happened in the family of a BJP person, the Media would have gone agog with the
news.
(2)Teestha Setalwad was exposed of creating most of the Gujarat Riot Stories and in
fact taken the Supreme court almost for a ride.Imagine a similar offence by the
opposite side. There would have been discussions, hen fights, opinion polls and
SMS surveys.

The MEDIA OF THIS DECADE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR AGES TO COME. IT IS A BLOT ON JOURNALISM.

Is there any Indian who will lodge a criminal case on Testha Setalwad for her crimes against the communal harmony of this country?

The fact remains that gujarat riots happened and 1000 (and 2000 by NGO and independent human rights estimate) people were killed. Had it happened in the west, the head of the state would have been punished in no time and the world including India would then never question the justice. Its only because it all happened in India, that Mr. Modi escaped and got a second chance to prove his worth in admistration.

Nitin... the NGo and human rights true picture is already out... they had all cooked up stories... dont forget that in the communal riots which followed Godhra... around 200 hindus were also killed... it was not only moslims... so, just dont blame Modi... it was hindoos anger against what moslims had done... why dont you look at the brighter side of the development of Gujrat now???

It was the duty of the govt to prevent or contain the riots rather than instigating and promoting. Growth packaged with communal tension is dangerous.
