Really? You mean you have to accept Bangaru Laxman as a contrite human being to become a patriot? Or that the BJP MPS who took money for questions in parliament had the best interests of the nation in mind eh? Or when Pramod Mahajan took crores in bribe, he was being a patriot eh? Or when Vajpayee gave permission to Enron to build a power plant in Dhabol during his 13 day stint in power, he had the best interests of the nation in mind eh?

Give us better lectures in patriotism, pal

Mr Vajpayee certainly had better interest in mind than the rotten Nehru who sold away our precious land to Porkistan in 1948 and lost some more to China in 1962. He certainly had more interest of Nation in mind than Indira Gandhi who did not even bargain for our land back from Porkistan when our brave soldiers had captured 90,000 POWS from Porkistan. Mr Mathew as I earlier said you are wearing coloured glass, these things are pittance to you. After all name one person of your elk who fought the British

Every political party and social service organization accept donations. What's the big deal? But talk of the 'alien' bar-maid's influence in sovereign India's politics! Talk of the Bofors scandal, the Iraq food-for oil scam, the Spectrum Allocation scandal etc.The BJP has the nation's interest at heart because they are all sons and daughters of the soil.

It is futile arguing with a bunch of goons from the Sangh on this board. Their intellect level is so low that they cannot sustain any civil arguments and resort to abusing others. So it is better to keep off this board and waste your time. Let them have a ball till May 16th. After May 16TH most of them will recede to their wood work.

it is only in relation to the current scenarios and fall of financial empire that USA asked the name of tax evaders from the germany. Germany had got the list of 1500 or so people amassing black money in the secret bank of switzerland. So there is a growing international pressure to reveal the name of those amassing black money. Germany said those country who would like to get the name of the people then they can give the name of those persons from the list that they managed to lay their hands on. Thus you see it has become electoral agenda. And lot of congressi has amassed such ill gotten wealth including the family. Thats why I see whole media brigade has started questioning the issue itself. Whats the problem buddy who is scared. Congress has dried this nation and sucked the money and blood out of poor and single handedly was able to retain the poverty among indian population. It should go...

Please enlighten yourself ! Swiss banks have started co-operating only recently after Barack Obama put diplomatic pressure on them. Earlier they were not entertaining any such official requests.

Cunning Congress leaders are trying to distract unsuspecting Indian electorate by asking irrelevant questions ! But their tactics won't work anymore !

Laudable effort by BJP regarding 25 lakh crore black money
by aandal on Apr 27, 2009 10:20 PM  | Hide replies

As per trecent news paper report, Modi , is taking opinion vote from people from 2000 mobile vote counters from people of Gujarat and then to all India basis regarding fact of Indian black money in forign banks .His effort is laudable and he clearly says that this has no relation with current election. Iam giving an idea only to New Gov .Only good Gov with genuine intention can perform
Advaniji has started a debate on black money which no body including any political parties dare to raise last 60 years .Time has come now to legalise black money in our system .To bring 800 billion doller from swiss bank except terrorists money is not easy and we can say lot of things during election only but I think Gov should bring a bill towards legalising .We must understand that who ever keeps black money ,keeps for their rainy day ,others commitments like funding to political parties ,donations to all temples ,NGOs only . I am not supporting the fact but it is an untold storey .So we must recognise that Black money also hard earned money(means require skills and top class CAs to create black money) .To legalise black money Gov should give tax shop for a period say 3 years who ever declare and bring back money to India .Or alternatively Who ever invest black money to Gov bonds will get 2% interest annually of the total amount for a period of say 10 years without getting the principal ammount .Time has come now to about black money

Shri Narendra Modi has given a wonderful interview to 'News X' some time back. We as a nation, should feel proud of such a wonderful and constructive leader. No wonder Gujarat has made tremendous progress under his able administration. the Congress has given the present complaint against him in the SC only out of jealousy-because of his popularity. A half-century of Congress rule has divided the people on caste and communal lines, and polarised the society. But no BJP leader ever played the 'divide and rule' game. They only want equality for all, which is a legitimate demand. Congress is the worst communal party, but BJP is a patriotic/nationalistic party. The Congress does not deserve to rule India any more, because the party is not in tune with the cultural and spiritual ethos of this great nation.

Any good scheme from BJP is bad for media
by balaji on Apr 27, 2009 10:19 PM

Yeddyurappa’s budget had encouraging news for several sections of the population — farmers, high school students, officials, researchers, patients, alike.

The decision to send 1000 farmers abroad on a study tour will expose them to different types of farming methods. Further a provision of Rs 750 crores as a support price for farm produce is good news.
Yeddi has given a fillip to ornamental fishery and has given an impetus to the establishment of goshalas for the protection of milch cattle. Extending free power to farmers with upto 10 HP pumpsets, introducing e-tendering to bring in transparency, allotting Rs 2 crore for reviving the river Arkavathy and establishing 500 foot bridges in the Malnad to bring connectivity to remote villages, are all heartening to note.

CM also deserves to be congratulated for providing free health insurance to poor families. Another noteworthy point, is the support given to the development of sandalwood cultivation, green villages and medicinal plants

BJPs Novel scheme – What did congress do in 60 years
by Kamadhenu on Apr 27, 2009 10:16 PM  | Hide replies

Ladli Laxmi Yojana scheme was started by the BJP government in MP in 2006. In a very short time, it has proved to be one of the most successful social welfare schemes in the history of the state.

Under the scheme, the state government buys saving certificates of Rs 6,000 each year for five consecutive years for every girl born in a family.

The girl gets Rs 2,000 after she completes her Class 5, another Rs 4,000 after she completes Class 8, Rs 7,500 after she completes the Class 10, Rs 200 per month in her 11th standard and a lumpsum amount of Rs 1,18,000 after she enters the 12th standard or, alternatively, attains the age of 18.

The principal aim of the scheme is to eliminate school dropout among girl students and to encourage them to study at least upto pre-college level.

This is what I (as an Indian) call development of girl child; unfortunately no media will project this, but will project BJP as T@liban if some Sene beats a girl who goes to a pub only coz it happened in a state ruled by BJP. This bias is going to be the undoing of the Congress

REAL FACE OF biased INDIAN MEDIA.
by Lopesh S on Apr 27, 2009 10:16 PM

Every media is owned by overseas Christian organisations. It was difficult to believe but the Election coverage by TV Media is prooving the point.
BUT NOW IT IS PROVED BEYOND DOUBT.
(1)No TV Media aired the News on the suicide of Senior Vadhera. If any such death had
happened in the family of a BJP person, the Media would have gone agog with the
news.
(2)Teestha Setalwad was exposed of creating most of the Gujarat Riot Stories and in
fact taken the Supreme court almost for a ride.Imagine a similar offence by the
opposite side. There would have been discussions, hen fights, opinion polls and
SMS surveys.

The MEDIA OF THIS DECADE WILL BE REMEMBERED FOR AGES TO COME. IT IS A BLOT ON JOURNALISM.

Is there any Indian who will lodge a criminal case on Testha Setalwad for her crimes against the communal harmony of this country?

WHICH PARTY HAS GOT GUTS TO STOP CONVERSION
After Kerala TN Orissa missionaries aggressive in AP and Karnataka
Alarming 5 fold increase in Kandhamal Christian population from six per cent in 1971 to 27 per cent in 2001 ,It began with the arrival of Christian missionaries in the area who found the remote region very conducive to conduct prosetylization amongst the poor tribals. The conversions continued unhindered until the arrival of Swami Laxmanananda who put strenuous efforts to stop conversions and help reconversion to Hinduism as well. If not for his effort Kandhamal would have been another Nagaland in the making where the separatist movement has wrecked havoc in the state.
The aggressive Christian proselytization in Orissa today pitched previously peaceful tribals into warring camps of Christians and non-Christian. This has has vitiated the peace that has existed with various communities for millenia.
Why Orissa
Orissa has been specially targeted because of a huge tribal population. This allows the missionaries to work from the scrutiny of the media and carry our their nefarious activities.
In Kandhamal district, for instance, the Christian population has increased from six per cent in 1971 to 27 per cent in 2001, despite a law enacted by the Orissa Legislature in 1967 to prevent conversion by allurement, coercion, bribery and cheating.

Mr New York,
Sonia always used to be with rajiv gandhi in all his rallies but that particular day, she was not with him. This is well known that Quatrocchi ,family friend of Sonia , supplies Ammuniation to LTTE.
When Indira Gandhi was injured with Bulletes , Sonia took her to Lohiya Hospital but then after reaching Hospital, she turn back & went to AIMS. Indira Gandhi died due to excessive loss of Blood in that 43 mins time.
These are some facts we cannot deny
