pitroda has become a partisan
by Pradip Parekh on Apr 25, 2009 02:19 AM

pitroda's role was of one of a technology adviser. clearly, he has become a congressi partisan. not surprisingly that has reduced him to a fool. it happens every time a good man has become a congressi.

I do not believe that Congress is the right party to lead the country mainly because the real issues like education, poverty, infrastructure, agriculture and alternative energy have never been on the party's agenda.
If we developed alternative energy from our resources - jatropha diesel, wind, solar energies we would never have needed to go the nuclear way.
Indians are absolutely ignorant of the dangers of nuclear plants. Ours are all first generation, the fourth generation plants are now being set up in Europe and the US. We are in grave danger of radioactive leaks and pollution. No one talks about this. It is ridiculous that everyone thinks that a deal with the US is the most wonderful achievement.
In Brazil the govt. is spending billions to clean up their slums, fight drug lords, give the people a decent life, and our politicians? They bicker and insult each other and blackmail those who want to do anything useful to pay bribes and become slaves. Is it any wonder that we have to have a PIO US citizen to set up the most secret of procedures regarding the nation's security? Where are the millions of IT specialists that our universities vomit yearly? None apparently is good enough to tackle serious work in his or her country, better emigrate to work under white bosses. That is our fate. Slaves for ever even though colonialism is officially extinct.

Dr.Singh Rocks

There can be no comparison between Manmohan Singh and Advani on any count other than criminal activities. Advani buckled under pressure in critical situations like Kandahar plane hijacking and Godhra riots. He cannot withstand the pressures of Prime Ministerial office, i would say not even a cabinet minister. UPA under Manmohan Singh is ending its term without any blemish or scandal. Dr Singh has been the most effective Prime Minister and his stewardship has been fruitful for development of the country.

you r right. cong is for bootlicking of minority community only. they dont have shame at all. In Andhra Pradesh it is more under ysr regime. there will be no power cut for ramzan or christmas. But for sriram navami they dare to cut power. nobody will ask. 5% reservation for muslims, haj pilgrimage sponsorship, minoritys marriage sponsorship etc etc sops are being given to minority community in andhra pradesh. But for us majority community who pay taxes, whenever there is a hindu festival the andhra govt charges 3 to 4 times the normal fare in buses to travel. still there is no resentment in our community. because we adjust to any humiliation by any government. we lack unity. it is high time we unite and revolt. BJP is the only answer to all these problems

India is going to overtake in the rate of GDP in the next month or 2. Get up from ur dreams and don't try to misguide others.

UPA has made us laughing stock!
by Rama Mani on Apr 23, 2009 03:45 PM  | Hide replies

While repeated terrorist acts were going on, our PM was telling current laws are good! Centre did not approve tough anti-terror laws of Gujarat, Rajasthan and some more. If traitors rule see the result for yourself! Indian judicial system, especially CJ, is partly responsible for the repeated terrorist acts! Conviction in criminal and rape and murder cases: 6 percent. Conviction rates in terrorism cases is hardly 2 percent. The trials can go on for ever. Meanwhile many get bails or freed on most unusual/technical grounds! Let us take the case of 1993 Mumbai blasts. The most glaring example of laws bowing before rich and famous is that of Sanjay Dutt. In 2007, Sanjay Dutt, Memon relations and some were convicted in the lowest court. With more than 45000 cases, how SC CJ’s bench found time to hear and give bails to Sanjay Dutt and Memon relations? Bails were sent by e-mails!!! Was this the most important case? Are there no courts in between? In Sanjay Dutt and Memon relations case, ASG supported the bails! Terrorism convictions in the US, UK and many other nations are as high as 90 percent! 9/11 and London train blasts were the last ones in US and UK. Many European nations also preempt most of the terrorist attacks. How many are being prosecuted in terrorism cases including disgraceful 2006 Mumbai train blasts? 26/11 is an international disgrace and we have become a laughing stock all over the world!

that is what we ask LKAji mah as to why he did not take up the issue in parl being leader of opposition. now using public platforms for debate with PM, calling him kathputhali (weak), black/brown monies, swish bank accounts, afzaaal gruji mah. he should have stood up in parl and declared that the PM is weak and then he would ha awakened the inner spirit of the congis' and probably they would have revolted and joined bbjjpp. but he had to rake this matter in public platform. same for afzaal gruji mah, and shud have stood up and asked the date for his hanging, and once again, one and all wud have revolted and instead of hanging to death, demand for stonning to death would have been passed in passed in the parl. of black/brown monies, rifht from the ex PM late V P Singh's time a decade long bbjjpp lead govet, no out come was there. late v p singh had come to power on bofors issue to be bared within a year, but ultimately, he had to abondon the idea and rake reservation issues (maaandaaal/kamandal). LKAji mah could not get to the bottom of black monies & swish bank accounts, even after a decade long rule. during the last five years of rule of bbjjpp, sonia gandhi was leader of opposition in parl. calling himself an iron man, he probably got rusted when sending the army to borders and withdrawing without a single bullet fired. shining india also got rusted in the process AND NOW BOASTING OF MUSCLE POWER.

Dr Manmohan Singh was well protected against criticism in Parliament by his comrade Somnath Banerjee. Outside Parliamet also he needs protection of friendly press persons.

Dr Singh is shying away from the real test.

Also Somnath Banerjee has absolved all people in money for vote scam without pursuing into roots of the issue. How can a meaningful debate be done in Parliament on Swiss Bank money.

Terrorists attacks do happen as long as there are terrorists and there is terrorism. The point is what is your attitude towards terrorists, what actions are you taking to fight terrorism, etc.

On occassions you may have to take a step back, strategically, to save your energy, resources and determination to fight terrorism. That's Kandahar episode.
What about inaction on tens of terrorist attacks during UPA rule? Was there any strategic step forward for backward?

You have that time POTA then what happend. Did anything prevented? We have enough law to prosecute the culprit, but what we need is strong intelligence network, setup electronic warefare, Develop economically. Rather than making laws (on paper), Making mandir, Accussing any minorities or destruction of any minorities. Dividing by cast etc etc can't solve anything or gain anything.

this is what was expected of LKAji mah. instead of distributing lap tops in rula population, he shud have promised to make intelegence to be provided with lap tops and other modern elecronics surveilance like night vision, gps montering of suspected movements etc. chidambarm introduced laws on the lines of POTA but also immidiatley ordered for forming of security set up that will coordinate and process security information. but LKAji mah went on drum beating "weak PM, black/brown monies, swish accounts, afzaaal gru ji mah, minoritiy appeasement, pseuodo secular and jinnah secular. AT LEAST HE SHUD HAVE SPOKEN TO TAKE UP THE RAGGING IN COLLEGES AND CORPORAL PUINISHMENT ON SCHOOL CHILDREN TO BE ABOLISHED. late v p singh came to power because of rehortic on bofors issue. similarly mooodyji mah came to become EM because of rehortic of itaaaliaan beeeach ruling over gujj. rehortic speeches have ruined not just pesonalities but ruined nations as well, and history is full of them.
