Congress has already accepted the defeat. Otherwise why on earth their leaders are now coming up with statements like, "we are not averse to tie-up with left, post-poll". With all the media backing congress, they started on an advantage, but now allies have left them, and their position is very shaky. The two places they hope to do better in South were Kerala and AP. AP is now a gone case, and in Kerala, they may reap good harvest since internal bickerings have already sinked CPIM and BJP leaders in the state are pulling at different directions. UP, Bihar, Orissa, MP, Karnataka, Punjab etc. are lost causes. They can give a fight in Maharashtra to BJP-SEna alliance, so is in Delhi (it may be a 3-4 verdit in favour of congress). They cannot get the required seats from North-Eastern States and Rajasthan. It seems, BJP who started on a sticky wicket, will be the run away victor this time.

good analysis.. i wish that the Vasundhra's Rajasthan government had done some good. It would have been an easy election of BJP. Anyways, instead of the absoultely abhorrent and despicable media bias, kangi would be lucky to reach 100. BJP and NDA should form the government.
