why then BJP is the only party making hue cry about swiss money and rest all parties are keeping mum. Doesnth this silence speak for itself. You cant wish away the serious allegations by not going into merit of it and calling it an act of desperation.

He has claimed in the affidavit that during his recent visit abroad this year, he had received "reliable information" that then KGB chief Victor Chebrikov had sought, in writing in December 1985, from the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (CPSU), "authorisation to make payments in US dollars to the family members of Mr Rajiv Gandhi, viz Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Ms Paola Maino, mother of Sonia Gandhi." He also claimed that these payments had been coming since 1971 as the payments received by Sonia Gandhi's family "have been audited in CPSU/CC resolution No 11187/22 OP dated 10/12/1984. It may be mentioned here that Dr Swamy had filed a writ petition before the Delhi High Court last year claiming that his allegations against Sonia Gandhi and her family members were based on the documents in the KGB archieves. He said the CBI should have obtained a Letter Rogatory to seek the information from the Russian Government instead of rejecting his charges outright.

Shameless people will vote for congress this election. If anyone has a little bit of patriotism and common sense, he/she will think about the Mumbai terrorist attacks before anything else, while voting. These attacks prove that it takes a little bit of freedom for islamic religious (yes! ..religious) people to become (cowardly) murdering psychophants. It must be something in their religious teaching that invokes them to take such a huge step of killing innocent people in the name of religion. After the horrifying and vigorously insane episode of Mumbai attack, Muslims living in Mumbai are not even completely condemning the attack by declaring fatwa against pakistan.
And what is the (congress) government doing, having bilateral questions and answer sessions? Ridiculous!!! Strong reaction is needed to a terrorist attack with a bang! BJP has done it in the past in Kargil and can do it once again with a fundamentally strong and couragious leader like Advani. Please... no more LAME prime minister like Manmohan...no more attacks like Mumbai.

Hitler was the undisputed Fuhrer. The Chancellor and the General of the German military. And his clout far transcended the limits of the posts he held. Modi has grown larger than anything in such an organisation which lays emphasis on collective effort and collective credit. Everything else has been sidelined, and the only issue that remains in Gujarat is Modi. He’ s not just a Chief Minister, he’s an autocratic monarch of Gujarat.

Hitler did it with the ideals of ‘Pure Aryan Race’, and ‘German pride’. Modi is doing it with the slogans of ‘Gujarati Asmita’. Both cut ice among the masses of the region concerned. While Hitler was hailed as the ’saviour of Germany’, Modi is being called the ‘Messiah of Gujarat’. I personally do not have any ground information, and the Gujarat election results are yet to come in, but if the media reports are anything to go by, the hysteria surrounding Modi is unprecedented of any politician in Gujarat.

Those who have heard him, have reported Hitler to be the fieriest speaker ever to walk this earth. I wouldn’t go that far with Modi, but from the video footages, and with whatever Gujarati I know, I can definitely say that when Modi addresses his rallies in Gujarat in chaste Gujarati, the masses have to love him. He could affect just by his gestures and mannerisms even those not knowing the language. If only words could kill, Sohrabuddin, Afzal Guru and Sonia Gandhi would have dropped dead by now.
