the tir front will be a dissolved front after the elections.just even considering that they will be ableto form govt after elections is an act of idiocity which these journalists do when they have nothing better to do.

The question third front getting desolved arises only if it ever had existed. This front is there only in the moinds of people like Bidwai.
Writer seems to be another Dalal of congress and their pseudo secular friends. It seems that rediff has received money from congress or their writers have recd money from congress

I THINK U HAVE TAKEN SOMETHING FRM THIRD FRONT. WETHER MONEY,IDEAS, JOB, SECULARISM OR ANYTHING.
When third class people float the parties to suit to their requirement, will it last long ? No way. They are time servers. Only illiterates / like minded people will only vote to these parties
The print and electronic media are trying hard to mask the bold writing on the wall : that both Congress and BJP are going to fall far short of 150 seats and that the third front will win enough seats to attract the rebellious UPA supporters to help form a govt. Where can congress get more than 10 seats except in AP and Maharashtra ?

Why the whole talk of 3rd and 4th front! At state level, they play all these drama. And when it comes to centre, the same who were throwing shit at each other in states will embrace and lick each other... Its the poor indian public who has to play the puppet show called election on their behalf !
Re: Does the Third Front have a future?

If third or 4th front is going to have a future, may be India wont have one after that ... :(
Till drastic political reforms are enforced, IIIrd front as wella as individual MP will have a say in multiple party system. Every MP is coming to parliament with vote backing, as such, voters will must be regarded, small parties are creating untouchability with other parties is an insult to democracy whereas their own interest clashes.
This left oriented writer is heaping praise on the left parties but he conveniently forgot that these are not the days of Namboodripad but those of Karats and Yechuries who have mprtrgaged their "so called" values when they shamelessly supported the present government for four and half years. What is the answer from the writer for the happenings in nandigram? Is this the left's pro-poor policy? What about the tie up with Madani in Kerala? Is it their consistent approach towards secularism? What about the Vijayan case again in Kerala? Is it their stand agaiknst corruption? Come on Mr.Bidwai, come to present day reality where the contribution of the left is to just make up the numbers but nothing more.
