Taliban execute man, woman in Hangu KOHAT: Local Taliban executed a man and a woman on charges of having illicit relations in Hangu district near the border of Orakzai Agency a few days back.
The footage, made available to Dawn on Friday, shows the Taliban shooting the man aged around 40 and a woman, about 45 years, at an open space in the presence of their relatives.
The woman is heard appealing to the Taliban, ‘Have mercy on me, please have mercy; the charges against me are false and no man has ever touched her’.
The Taliban first shoot the woman by firing two bullets in her chest and later open a burst of Kalashnikov fire at both the woman and the man. But the woman is still seen breathing, and the Taliban start yelling that she is alive and issuing orders to ‘kill her, kill her’.
Sources said that the Taliban had asked the relatives of the woman and the man to present the two before them for questioning at a specified place. The relatives brought both of them to the Taliban, who killed them in cold blood.

I want India to prosper, unlike you who wants Indians to fight among themselves. BJP is Indian Taliban, whether you accept is or not does not change the truth. I want India to march ahead. There are many countries which are lot ahead of us just because we keep fighting among ourselves instead of fighting corruption that is eating away INDIA. We should fight to get back Indian money in banks outside India, but we think only in terms of Hindus and Muslims. Let's not bring Taliban into India, irrespective of the form.

SIT denies, other agencies accept it happened, God knows what politics happening. But one thing is for sure - no minority can ever get justice. Let's change this. Let's treat people equally. Let's come together and talk about our nation. Let's punish everybody who believes in violence - this is in the interest of all Indians. Same thing happens in all the developed countries. Same things happen in all Islamic countries which are not impacted by US driven violence like Pak, Afghan, Iraq.

And the less we talk about the justice for minorities in 1slamic countries the better. In Saudi, even the Shiias are not treated well. They cannot become a re1igius teacher (forget about other minorities). India is the only Country where every one is treated at par.

True Indan, you will talk of equality when you are in miority but you want to impose your laws on every one when you are in majority. Jizya has been imposed in Swat by Taliban on the Sikhs. Great treatment of "minorities"!!!!!!
Those who will talk about 80 crore nationalist (including sikhs Christians are bloody communal and those who wud lick A S S of 15-20 mill minority ( whose nationalist credentials are unknown) are secular...

I am surprised that people think that speaking for Hinduism is speaking against Muslims. I am sure Hinduism is much bigger than what BJP projects.

congress is the biggest threat to secular india. If muslims think that it is BJP then its their ignorance. Over six decades now Cong has exploited muslims with their minority tag. Cong will never work for their education or upliftment, as once their are educated then they cant be fooled around as now. The biggest example of maligning muslim community is the way Afzal guru's case is being handled. They are not hanging him thinking that muslims will go against them. This is the most extreme way of abusing a true indian muslim. How come a true indian muslim be hurt by hanging a criminal like afzal guru. Cong is going all out to destroy this country. Whenever and wherever a bomb blast or terrorist strike occurs an avg indian muslim feel nervous. Then he/she needs to go out and condemn the attack to show the society that he/she is as good an indian as hindus. Muslims should hold congress responsible for their current plight.

Why are 50% resources in the country reserved for backwards of one community in the name of castes? Why only Afzal Guru, why not others who have been condemned to death by Supreme Court (in Rajiv Gandhi assasination case etc). Kill them all.

Islamabad, April 16 (IANS) Pakistan's Sikh community has been forced to pay Rs.20 million as 'jizia' (tax) to the Taliban so as to return to their homes and resume business, a newspaper said Thursday.
The minority Sikh community Wednesday met the Taliban demand in return for 'protection' in Orakzai Agency in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas, the Daily Times reported.
The Taliban then released Sikh leader Sardar Saiwang Singh and vacated the community's houses. The militia announced that the Sikhs were now free to live anywhere in the area.
'They also announced protection for the Sikh community, saying no one would harm them after they paid jizia. Sikhs who had left the agency would now return to their houses and resume business,' an official said.
