Appreciate the guys have listed their true value (may be untrue to an extent), but at least they did... unlike Sonia Gandhi and others who listed 15 lakhs and 30 lakhs as their worth!! What a joke that is.

Very well said and appropriate too.atleast they have the guts to declare their true assets(may be untrue to an extent,as u already mentioned).we,indians are sick and tired of this GANDHI FAMILY..they think india to be their property of ruling it for ever through generations...Stupid morons should be kicked out..
Looks like lots of these "crorepati leaders" are from Bahujan, Samaj, .. type parties. Parties with avowed commitment to the welfare of the poor...dunno who is being "uplifted"
then the whole list of richest guys will be from BSP ... because its public money and hard working, honest, educated and tax paying public in India are rich! these people have no honour, dignity, integrity, patriotism and compassion. don't ask me how i want them to die ... coz its too nasty for me to tell!
Have heard Manmohan and Devegowda talk about limiting wealth of corporate honchos. This corporate wealth is earned by hard work based on merit. And they create more wealth by way of creating jobs. Actually the real need is to limit wealth under politicians. Which is mostly usurped wealth by way of caste factor, bribery, drugs etc. And the politicians' wealth does not create wealth for commonman. Just for family it does if at all that wealth remains in bank accounts of India. While India and Indian's wealth struggles to increase by single digit, politician's wealth increases in 1000%s whether recession or not.
Also curtail wealth earned by film stars and cricketers.
As no other Chief Minister, as in no other state has done, the government of Andhra Pradesh under your leadership is subsidizing Christians in the state (whose population according to the census of 2001 is 1.44% in our state) for their pilgrimage to Jerusalem Bethlehem, Nazareth etc., in the Holy Land of Israel/Palestine to the extent of Rs. 20,000 per person. Our government is also, as in no other state in the country, giving Rs. 15,000 for the marriage of Christians & Muslims. Similarly as no other state in the country our government has written off Rs.500 cr of debt owed by Muslims to the state-owned Andhra Pradesh State Minority Finance Corporation. As in no other state in the country, our state is paying fees fully for Muslims (& Christians) studying in professional colleges like engineering. One outstanding result of this is that, as Hon’ble Minister Shabbir Ali has said, while 6000 Muslim students joined in engineering colleges in the year 2007, the number this year was 18,000.
The citizens of our state have also read your wonderful message to Christians in the state on the occasion of Christmas. You have proudly said that Subsidies for Pilgrimages your government has created a separate Department for the welfare of Christians and a separate State Corporation for financing them.

I would give benefit of doubt to Advani because he claims to be against corruption.
I feel the real reason to conceal wealth is NOT to evade taxes, it is because that wealth is ILLEGAL (disproportionate assets).
