Ahmedabad: The first list of 21 candidates announced by the BJP yesterday has many surprises that even many BJP leaders in the state find difficult to fathom. The most striking surprise is that the party has fielded three candidates who figured prominently in the multi-crore cooperative banks scams, which left thousands of depositors penniless.
Two of the three candidates were arrested and jailed for a few months till they were granted bails by the courts.
The three candidates are: CR Patil from Navasari, Deepak Sathi from Anand and Prabhatsinh Chauhan from Panchmahal Lok Sabha seats.
"I just cannot believe that such scamsters can be BJP candidates in Gujarat," a senior BJP leader said ruefully. He added that this shows that the party considers only criterion of winnability of the candidate and nothing else.

The kaangress list is full of people who have been involved in multi-nation scams. Now Kaangress is giving the children of these "leaders" chance to have a scam!

He is a REAL Dalit at par with his Great Leader 'The Mayavati', the assets are again on the declared ones ONLY and what is the actual situation of the so-called Dalits being represented by Maya vatiji and her colleagues and supporters? What is the role of Election Commission in this matter? There must be some Rules and Regulations for the persons aspiring to be OWN representative(for the suppression, addition of more wealth and prowess) rather than being true peoples' representative of the Poor masses!

it is now open that politics is only business and not samaj seva,they only make money for themselves,very shameless indeed, doesnt the tax authorities ever chk source of incomes? it is only for middle class salaried people who are harassed. no wonder politicians ignore aam admi, no matter which party all are the same, only one has to coose lesser evil amongst them , a very hard coice indeed. mera bharat kahaan
