The person I consider as my "guru" was also a X'tian by birth (Dr. Abraham T.Kovoor). Pl use civilized language while debating.

I do not support the Pope . I fully agree that the religion and state governance should be separate . My reply was meant for lakskrsn who cannot find any flaw in his own religion but can point them out in other religions .Do not get me wrong

Andrew Russell, there was only one person like that (Jesus Christ) and he was not a Christian but a Jew. He did not start any re1igion. The religion was started later by his followers and the Churches used the same for enforcing their strangle hold on the common people.
Europe progressed only after separation of State from the Churches.

Yes, I know about your thinking. My reply was also meant for other intolerant guys. No religion is better than the other. No religion has ever stopped people from committing crimes. The sooner we all get rid of the outdated religious dogmas, the better for the whole world.

This is a shocking and horrifying tale indeed. I do not think any human beings can act in this way . This has nothing to do with religion . The Taliban are messengers of Satan using Islam as an excuse to carry out their 'Edward Hyde' style activities .

its funny how christians think their religion is number one. hindus should come up with a rule that says anybody who does not beleive in hinduism goes to hell and start saving people from going to hell. offense is the best form of defense.
