do u know this?

One frequently hears that Rajiv Gandhi's
grandfather was
Pandit Nehru. But then we all know that everyone
has two grandfathers,
the paternal and the maternal grandfathers.

In fact, the paternal grandfather is deemed to be
the
more important grandfather in most societies.

Why is it then, nowhere, we find Rajiv Gandhi's
paternal
grandfather' s name? It appears that the reason
is simply. Rajiv
Gandhi's paternal grandfather was a Muslim
gentleman from the Junagadh
area of Gujarat .

This Muslim grocer by the name of Nawab Khan, had
married
a Parsi woman after converting her to Islam.

This is the source where from the myth of Rajiv
being
a Parsi was derived. Rajiv's father Feroze, was
Feroze Khan before he married
Indira, against Kamala Nehru's wishes.

Feroze's mother's family name was Ghandy, often
associated
with Parsis and this was changed to Gandhi,
sometime before his wedding
with Indira, by an affidavit.

I am no fan of Sonia or the puppet PM Manmohan or the Congress but the calumny against Feroze Gandhi is outrageous. Feroz Gandhi was born to Jehangir & Ratimai, a Parsi couple from Bonbay. After finishing his education from Allahabad Ewing College, Feroze went on to the London School of Economics, which hequit halfway to join the freedom struggle. Feroze took on the surname of Gandhi fromMahatma Gandhi who adopted him when Nehru had objections to Indiara and Feroze's marriage. Feroze Gandhiwas a distingushed parliamentarian who often attacked the corruption scandals even in Nehru's time. His role is exposing Dalmia's machinations to accquire Benet Coleman (of Times of India fame) or the Mundra-LIC scandal which eventually led to the resignation of India's then Finance Minister TTK Krishnamachari are well known. Refer to the Indian Expres or any othe rwell known newspaper archives before slandering a patriot and nationalist like Feroze Gandhi, who the Parsi community revere and respect

Feroze Khan, the grocer's son was then in England
and
he was quite sympathetic to Indira and soon enough
she changed her religion,
became a Muslim woman and married Feroze Khan in a
London mosque.

Nehru was not happy, Kamala was dead already or
dying.
The news of this marriage eventually reached
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi
(better known as Mahatma Gandhi) .

Gandhi urgently called Nehru and practically
ordered him
to ask the young man to change his name from Khan
to Gandhi. It had nothing
to do with change of religion, from Islam to
Hinduism for instance.
It was just a case of a change of name by an
affidavit. And so Feroze
Khan became Feroze Gandhi.

When they returned to India , a mock 'Vedic
marriage' was
instituted for public consumption.

On this subject, writes M.O. Mathai (a long-time
Private
Secretary of Nehru) in his renowned (but now
suppressed by the GOI! ) 'Reminiscences
of the Nehru Age' on page 94, second paragraph: '
For some inexplicable
reason, Nehru allowed the marriage to be performed
according to Vedic rites
in 1942. An inter-religious and inter-caste
marriage under Vedic
rites at that time was not valid in law. To be
legal, it had to be a civil
marriage .'

If Mr Kale is so interested about the family tree of a person, then he must check out his DNA. The finding will prove that his forefather were from Afganisthan.

Mr Jai,
No it does make any difference if a patriot or a freedom fighter was a Hindu, Muslim, Christian or Parsi. You have forgotten to name Sikhs. But after Independence the Muslim's demanded Pakistan in the name of religion and Nehru agreed to give Pakistan only because he can become the P.M. When the Muslim's demanded and got Pakistan in the name of religion why the special right to them in India now? The strong PM MMS says that the Muslim have a first right over the wealth of the nation. Why no common Civil Code. Have you heard or can you tell one country in this world which allows two Civil Code for two different religion. Anyway, fortunately the Taliban is shortly reaching India and they will allow only one Civil code for all citizens of India and that will be Shariat Law. Womens/girls will not be allowed to go to school and will get lashes in their butts if they don't wear burqa. We really deserve this as after 60 years of Independence we still are not able to provide the basic necessities of life to the large part of the Population like Safe Drinking Water. Allah ho Akar. Save India.

Ghulam Singh- A Fact
by Tamal Das on Apr 18, 2009 11:58 AM  | Hide replies

Sonia called Mr Advani as slave of RSS clearly shows her frustration. She made this kind of remark as she surrounded by her slaves. She looks every Indian only from this angle only. The congress party is really shame of the nation which promotes monarchy system in the place of biggest democracy of the world. The party is real danger for our democracy.
The people of India should not forget the act of slave of PM Mr Gulam Singh. In July-05, in speech he praised the British rules in India. He had forgotten the sacrifice of lac of people of India in freedom movement. In spite of having PHD degree in economics the PM could not take economic decision independently in 70’s when he was Financial Advisor of Indira Gandhi and India was running under influence of USSR, he acted as socialist. His contribution was high rate of inflation, high deficit in finance, negative balance of trade ect. In the 90s when he became FM of India under the leadership of PV Narsima Rao he suddenly became liberal under the influence of IMF, WB, USA. And finally he became PM for his loyalty to Gandhi family in 2004 with the support of left. In his tenure of PM ship he could not able to manage the economic condition of India. Some time he guided by pro China left parties and USA of course. He waste his time by balancing between the two. From the 90’s India could able to achieve a stable economy with moderate rate of inflation. The country have a sound financial system which helps in production, ca

DO THE PEOPLE SURRONDING SONIA CONTEND IN PUBLIC THAT THEY ARE NOT SLAVE OF SONIA? WHILE ADVANI IS SLAVE OF RSS IDEALS, THE LEADERS OF CONGRESS ARE SLAVE OF SONIA. BECAUSE IF SONIA IS OUT (OR EVEN HER SURNAME IS REMOVED) THE VERY CONGRESS PARTY WILL BE OUT OF POLITICAL ARENA. THIS ASPECT SHOULD BE ALSO BORNE BY RAHUL WHO IS MAKING ABSURD STATEMENTS IN PUBLIC. FURTHER IT IS BETTER FOR THESE LEADERS TO KNOW WHAT RSS IS BEFORE MAKING STUPID REMARKS.

The entire congress party is a slave of Sonia only because of her surname, because the congress party thicks their party is a private property of the Gandhi family. That's why in congress flag you see the photos of Nehru,Indira,Rajiv,Sonia but not the photos of Narsingha rao,Sitaram kesari and many other congress presidents only because they don't belong to the Gandhi family.Of course they show the photo of Lalbahadur Shashtri only to save face.

Rediff is brazenly skewed
by Nilayan Mukherjee on Apr 18, 2009 09:38 AM

it is simply not allowing my most benign article on MP/CHATTISGARH/RAJASTHAN & DELHI for publication. In the 1st 2 states BJP has routed CANGRESS in the teeth of all kind of wild speculations, ceaseless slanderous canvassing by both the print and electronic media , pseudo- seculars... In RAJASTHAN, cangress pyrric victory has much to do with BJP's personality clash between the duos vasudhara and jaswant which they failed to check on time and that cost BJP the state or else cangress would also meet with the same fate there as well.i m not reckoning Delhi seriously thanks to its pint-size which will have insignificant implicational effects on the final show.but there also Bjp will improve its position markedly from its previous tally. If my memory serves me correctly, then anterior to these elections all the journos had written BJP off calculating whether it would be 4-0 or 3-1 in favour of cangress. To cut a long story short, all the cards were stacked against BJP as if there was no tomorrow for the party even if it went for the doctor. So against such a back drop if it managed a spectacular show, then there is no reason not to believe that history will be repeated in the LS election as well as for cangress the FAT LADY HAS ALREADY SUNG.This time, on 16th May all the pseudo would appear apish with eggs on their face.Cangress has already been tagged a sinking ship that's why all its trusted allies!casting it off as these fair-weather pals have rightly read the writing on the wall
