VOTE FOR ONE OF THE PREPOLL ALLIANCES
by Ramasamy Nagarajan on Apr 15, 2009 06:13 AM  | Hide replies

For Parliament Elections please choose and VOTE for one of the Nationwide prepoll alliances either BJP lead NDA or Congress lead UDF. Any vote for others will lead to chaos and hung Parliament. All other alliances, like the so called 3rd front, Lalu-mulayam singh-Pasan,Jaya-Pmk-Left-MDMK, telugudesam-trs-Left are confusing voters and will bargain for 100s of crores for every MP in Govt formation. They have the track record of withdrawing support at crucial time which lead to another election.
Let us form a stable Govt. Elect only from out of UDF or NDA. All others are opportunists
For AP vote for Cong or Telugu desam for a stable Govt which can rule for next 5 years

Vote for......!
by surender on Apr 15, 2009 05:55 AM  | Hide replies

Belonging to a dynasty should not be a factor to disqualify. Give the opportunity who is the best. Advani is an opportunist, will do anything to be the PM of anywhere, even if its pakistan. BJP had their opporutinity, they lost it big time. Modi is a strong man because he can use the conservative thoughts of Gujaratis. He is visionary for Hindus and gujarat, but the PM of India should care for all Indians regardless of faith, gender or religion. Right now Laoo, Mulayam, Paswan and Nitish Kumar are relying on traditional Congress votes. They are using dalits on their emotions. After election they all will bargain and get what is best for them and not their constituent. It will be smart of dalits and conventionally Congressis to vote for Congress and make it stronger so India can progress. Out of 80% of Hindus, the BJP can get only 24% votes. There must be a reason for that. Congress might get only 25% votes but most of the votes would go to Congress if these smart regional leaders would not mislead their voters on the caste and region basis. thus Congress actually gets 55% votes indirectly. These people will never vote for BJP as BJP believes in Varna system. Congress is the party of masses. MMS is the best PM India can have at this time. Jay Bharat

Most OLD Congress leaders are wolves in sheeps' clothing and do not deserve to be elected/ reelected. Each case should be seen separately.

Rahul Gandhi and Dynasty
by Nazir Patel on Apr 15, 2009 03:22 AM  | Hide replies

What is wrong if Rahul comes from a political dynasty ? It is not like they are planning to make him the Prime Minister tomorrow. Besides if you follow his activities he has been travelling and meeting the poor in the villages and even eating with them and spending nights sleeping with villagers. With time he will learn well. And it helps that he does come from a family all of whom were in
politics. He would be an ideal young candidate.
Modi may have done well for the progress of Gujarat but he is a failed moral leader. He did not even get a visa to enter the U.S
I give him credit for the progress in Gujarat. But even in Gujarat there are many parts where the sanitary conditions are awful and the infrastructure is weak. And as a national leader he would be unacceptable because he is not seen as someone who can unite people. For a secular India he is already a misfit. If somehow his vision can sincerely change then perhaps. But that died when he did not do anything to bring the perpetrators of the Godhra carnage to justice.

Dynasty or age, religion or region, caste or money should not be any criteria to oppose or choose.
Criteria should be a visionary, statesman, nationalism, and honesty to lead my nation.

my vote
by Ravi Rengarajan on Apr 15, 2009 12:50 AM

i will vote only for the part which declares 100 per cent reservations forSC & st and declare that all the meritorius candidates should go abroad and should not stay in india. Further the party which gives tickets to criminals such as murderer or rapist. It is better to vote one who done more crimes or they should be a party which controlled only by their family members

Corruption and National Security at Stake
by rahul kumar on Apr 14, 2009 11:58 PM  | Hide replies

The article is very interesting but there is no denying the fact that two major party who according to my prediction are NCP and BJP. This year the Third Front comes for the first time together to challenge the existence of these two parties as the Major one. The whole last five year was very both memorable and alrming one. Memorable in the sense that SENSEX had crossed 20,000 points index and Nuclear Deal between India and USA, wile on the other side the Alarming issues were included the issues like Terrorism(Remember the time when all the nation stuck to Television to watch the attack on The Taj in Mumbai), Inflation (Although the prices of Essential Commodities are sky rocketing), Unemployment, and the similar ones. No doubt that Indian Army Jawans are the true Heroes of those Bad times faced by both Indian Citizens and foreigners. Left Party has very limited,if any, ides about the constitutional ruling knowledge and agenda. So, there is no chance to their victory as a single party majority. Narendra Modi has right and powerful vision for Indians. My Vote goes to BJP! Jai Hind!

Request
by Kores Gymer on Apr 14, 2009 11:44 PM

I don't say that all political parties of India should not give tickets to those candidates who have severe criminal record in Mass Murder, Murder, Rape, Dacoity, Kidnapping, Terrorist Links, Frauds etc. etc.
Because such requests are rejected.
Therefore come and select the biggest criminal as PM & President of India.

And I hope perhaps they reject this request also.
