Ladli Laxmi Yojana scheme was started by the BJP government in MP in 2006. In a very short time, it has proved to be one of the most successful social welfare schemes in the history of the state.
Under the scheme, the state government buys saving certificates of Rs 6,000 each year for five consecutive years for every girl born in a family.
The girl gets Rs 2,000 after she completes her Class 5, another Rs 4,000 after she completes Class 8, Rs 7,500 after she completes the Class 10, Rs 200 per month in her 11th standard and a lumpsum amount of Rs 1,18,000 after she enters the 12th standard or, alternatively, attains the age of 18.
The principal aim of the scheme is to eliminate school dropout among girl students and to encourage them to study at least upto pre-college level.
This is what I (as an Indian) call development of girl child; unfortunately no media will project this, but will project BJP as T@liban if some Sene beats a girl who goes to a pub only coz it happened in a state ruled by BJP. This bias is going to be the undoing of the Congress

socialism itself is the enemy.. mulayam is just a servile sycophant of socialism..
Computerisation and internet leaves little in the hands of smaller clerks, etc for fooling customers and common people. It exposes corruption and gives better control to organisation among millions of other advantages. It leads to contact and exchange of thoughts with people in remote villages. Maybe this is not suitable for such leaders who wish to fool public with FALSE information which cannot then be crosschecked!
This is the person who wants to be prime minister. i would like to appeal to people , dont give a single vote to SP. as they will drag us to 100 year down.
If this person will be pm what he will do ? See if a computer came into any dept , the workability and standard of living increases.some ney youth and some indirect employee get employeed.
This mulayam is not feet for a sarpanch .his vision will drag our country to sand . Make a BIg vision. Why SP Is not telling we will create a big country full of technology. See the devloped country , who has increased its technology and they make the more employed .

His reason is not so wrong, but there are important factors which are ignored while arriving at his conclusion that computerization and English should be restricted.
Blackmailing power of employees is the single most important reason for avoiding human labour wherever possible in India.
Before computerised reservations the railways booking clerks at the reservation counters used to be very rude and 100% corrupt and touts had monopoly of all seats in trains.
English gives an escape route to those fortunate enough to learn it. Main cause of opposition to compulsory English is the fear that our slave like population might escape from our control if they get access to other places because of knowing English.
If anyone cares for freedom of Indians then they must try to encourage computerisation and compulsory learning of English to a good standard , not just the typical Govt. schools standard wherein a child cannot speak or think in English but can only read and write it.

Unfortunate thing is that an idea in India remains like "Mulayam's idea" and no real debate is held on the merits of it.
The idea is not good or bad because it isspoken by Mulayam, but on its own merit or demerit, of which unfortunately not much will be said in these election times. Finally the voting will be for this or that person (and his personal things like religion, caste, etc.) rather than their expressed ideas, e.g., computerisation or compulsory English learning. The ideas will be buried til the next election. Indians know only how to waste time and opportunity.

We have no better people to run our Govts. because honest and capable people shy away from such Public duty.
Even our scientists are content to draw their salary as Scientist A or B or C,... and do not take any interest in development of the society they live in. Same goes for the best qualified class of Indians, the ex soldiers, who too largely keep away from Public affairs, to waste their ability and opportunity in anonymous retreat. No one can save a society if its own "best" do not want to do it.
50% Indians have not seen a square meal in their lives. Their child will inevitably go blind for want of about one carrot per annum, if it manages to keep alive that long.
Bank accounts come 5000 (Five Thousand) years or more later in the course of development. First let us find a Wheel and Lever and other pre stone age things for our billion plus people.
Post stone age developments can wait. Food, water and the right to life and limb are more important.
At the present rate of improvement it might take another twenty or more generations to arrive at stone age standards of living for Indians. The Indians of that time can decide about Bank accounts and so on.
Mulayam is Angutha chhap, thats why he hate computers. till date he dont know how to type his name in Computer. These type of leader will take india back into 18th century........ Shame on him, Shame on Amar singh, Shame on Sanjay Datt.... these sick people
