I often read on the message board that if there were no Sikh there won't be any Hindus.It's a canard perpetuated by Sikhs.Let's get the facts.
When Punjab was already under Muslim rule, in central India Kalinga (Now part of Orissa) kings built the Konark temple after their victory against muslim invaders.You can do a google search if u want to know more.Even now Orissa has mere 2% muslims because of their mighty kings successfully defending their homeland against Muslims.So Where Punjabis and Bengalis failed, Orissa succeeded.
In Maharastra the great Maratha Kings fought the Moghul rulers and defeated the Moghul rulers to spread the Maratha empire.It's the victory of Marathas that weakened the Moghul empire and paved the way for Sikh kingdom in Punjab.It's a pity that after their victory Marathas ended up allowing the Moghuls to rule in exchange of tax.
So whom did Sikhs fought against?Sikhs fought against Moghul rulers in around 15th century because their Guru was killed by Muslim rulers.Note Punjab was already occupied by muslims unlike states like Maharastra, Orissa and Assam.Sikhism was founded during Islamic rule in Punjab. The killing of Sikh guru led to revolt against the muslim rulers.So basically their's was a revolt against the tyranny of Muslim rule.Contrast that with Central India: There was no Muslim rule as Muslim were defeated by Marathas and Kalingas (Orissa).
That's why Muslim population is high in North India but very low in both Orissa and Maharastra.

Aurangzeb started ethnic cleasning of hindu brahmins first. He wanted to start from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. His objective was to first convert entire brahmin clan into muslim and then others too.
He openly asked the brahmins that you do not have anyone to save you from this. If you want to save your lives then embrace islam or else die. They issued a fatwa that if any one of you can dare to bring any religious leader whom we cannot convert into islam, we wont harm you anyway. He knew there are none across india since most of them were weak to stand against the mughal oppression.
This is why a group of 500 brahmins visited only a sikh guru Tegh Bahadur and asked them to save them from this aggressor.
Guru asked Guru Gobind Singh that it is the time for"Supreme sacrifice by a Mahan Pursh was the need of the hour". Guru Gobind Singh replied ""Who else has a nobler than you, dear father'?"
Guru Tegh Bahadur was martyred and his 3 followers were sawn-alive,burnt alive, and boiled alive.
This is how the priest sect of hinduism was saved from Mughal aggression.
It is a big tragedy of this country that there are people like you who misguide people in the name of religion.
If hindus were in majority then why did mughal,french,british aggression happened one after another.

Were innocent 3000 pilgrims were the main targets OR The 30-40 men of Bhindranwale ? If 30-40 men of Bhindranwale were target, then how come thousand pilgrims died inside premises of Golden Temple?
Doordarshan was controlled by congress and till the date NDTV and some other channels are controlled by Congress.These channels feed shit to misguide Indian. 3000 children,men,woman were butchered by Indian Military on the orders of congress crook indira.

Half-Punjab was already destroyed by congress in 1947, and they wanted to completely defame holy Khalsa by using term "KHALISTAN" .Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Udham Singh gave sacrifice for INDIA and not any other country. Bhindranwale's fight was against "Nirankaris" (who are neither hindu nor sikhs, but look like hindus) which were vote bank of Congress in Punjab ( similar to Dera Sacha Sauda). This internal fight was mis-projected by Doordarshan and Congress as hindu-sikh fight.
Congress created Pakistan, threw indian muslims out and orchestrated 1947 riots by creating biggest split between hindus-muslims. I agree with The Indan.We need to go deeper into the causes of the Punjab bloodshed from 1980 till 1993. We need to understand what was troubling Bhindranwale and his vast following. Islam is safe in India as long as hindu majority. The country broke like afganisthan, pakisthan, bangladesh when muskims becomes majority...Do not forget once upon a time, these people are hindus and meant for peace..Once hindu change faith then he becomes extrimist...Though I am hindu, I should admit that most hindus would like to be slaves under foriegn rulers and foreign religions.

Yeah right! What peace did Islam spread? Nothing but intolerance - look at every "Islamic" nation from Pakistan to Arabia - what personal freedoms are there? Peace is not the same as forced submission to totalitarian diktats.
