It is very painful for a person,like me , who always stands for entire subcontinent as one piece of land that should stand for tolerance and mutual understanding of all people ,despite very obvious historical legacies of Sects ,Castes ,races , different lingos and cultures -or highly proselytizing and basically non-proselytizing Religions like Hinduism. You have to be A Hindu by Birth or Past's good Karman.Most certainly ,the message of Gandhi or even Swami Dayanand Saraswati to the sublime foundations of Aryan World-View is put to greatest humiliation when the poor Christian tribal women of Kandhamal are feeling insecure in the face of their Hindu-Neighbours threatening them.The great Hindu teacher Guru Tegh Bahadur before the advent of Khalsa had poetically put it: Naa Kahu ko det Bhai , na kahoo ka Bhai: It is this great teacher who did ,in 1775, put his head on the chopper to save Pt. Kriparam of Kashmir from religious bigotry of the Moghul Emperor Aurangzeb. That was the Miracle , He showed to the Despot.Let we much lesser epigoni of the Savant , be worthy children of our Great Teghbahadurji Maharaj D. Goel
When i was in college..one of my friends who is a xstian invited me to church...i wanted what it was and how they worship...then i went and sat on the bench in church...after the speech that jesus is the only god who can save us all this that..in a pathetic telugu...they asked me kneel down a it is a part of worship...
i did it without hesitation as i could not hurt my friends' sentiments....
the next day i was going to a temple and asked my friend to accompany me. He came along, but refused to enter the temple. I asked why ??
he said worshipping a statue is against to christianity...and after puja i asked to accept prasadam...but he refused too....except this incident, he was a good guy..i acknowledge...
but at the very moment i concluded that these people cannot respect other religions...and expect us to respect and follow xstianity...this is sick...isn't it ?????
Am not completely against to xstianity....but there are idiotic people who keep doing forcible conversions....and rediff should not only publish the views of xstians in relief camps..but also should try to publish the views of followers of swami laxmanananda who got killed by these people...can u rediff ???...can u dare do it ??
The bias of the anti-Hindu electronic English media is evident in the hyper excited reporting of the church attack. The likes of Girish Karnad, U R Ananthamurthy and Mahesh Bhatt Teesta Shabana Azmi Barka Dutt Sardesai know which side of their bread is buttered. Their selective amnesia is amusing. Did these raise any voice in support of amaranth pilgrims protest or against durga pooja protest or other innumerour atrocities on Hindus all over Bharath Nobody talks about the killling of Swami Laxmanananda and his 4 associates, burning of the Radhabai chawl that killled 16 people, which provoked sharp reaction from the Hindu community, Godhra train carnage and Marad killling which was buried silently by so called seculars.
They never react on lakhs of Hindus being displaced from Kashmir or innumreous atrocities on hindus. These opportunists are no better than traitors of the past who are ready to sell the dignity of the country for their selfish gains

the main philosophical texts of the Hindus are the upanishads, Brahma Sutras and the baghavat gita- have u read it? if no? then read and then argue?- these three form the Bulwark of hindu thoughts.
If there is one religion in the world then the world will be peaceful. Let all in the world convert to Christianity and avoid many problems based on religion

i am a very devout christian, but suggesting that everyone should convert to Christianity is wrong. Everyone is free to practice his own belief.
One of the main commandments in the Ten Commandments is "Love thy neighbour as thyself". The Bible does not talk of "Love thy CHRISTIAN neighbour as thyself"
The teachings of Christ are an example of humility, forgiveness, love and truth, and we should live that life to the fullest rather than try and tell others what they should be doing. By being an example in Christ, people will follow HIM even more, there is no need to force anyone into doing things that they do not want to.

xtian mafia is responsible for Kandhamal riots, they assasinated Swami Laxmananda, riots are retaliation from Hi ndus. What everybody is expecting to sit hi ndus at home by closing the doors?
Media is baised and only talk about riots done by hi ndus out of anger, they never focused the issue of swami Laxmananda's death.

The National Minorities Commission (NMC) is active only when the sufferers are non-Hindus,namely Christians and Muslims. But when it’s a case of Hindus being the minority community, their sufferings are totally ignored. Take the case of Hindu Reangs of Mizoram: they have been driven out of the state since they refuse to embrace Christianity. The NMC has never bothered to visit the camps of these 30,000 unfortunate Reangs in Tripura. Nor has it bothered to look into the pathetic living conditions of Kashmiri Pandits, either in Jammu or elsewhere.
Hindus, as a minority community, cannot celebrate Durga Puja in southern Tripura, Meghalaya and other Christian majority states of the east. Does the Constitution define minorities as only non-Hindus? Now, when some churches have been attacked in and around Mangalore, they have rushed in, which has ultimately resulted in the Central Government issuing a warning to the Karnataka government.
