WHY JOB DATA IS NOT BEING PUBLISHED BY INDIAN GOVERNMENTS ?
by udayraj on Apr 08, 2009 06:46 PM

Sunil Mittal & Wal Mart, the biggest organisation in world by revenue of US$ 378 Billion, are tying together for organised retail initiative under Bharti's leadership. This joint venture is going to produce 2 million jobs in organised retail compared to job loss of 40 million across India. So best of luck to Mr. Mittal & govts. who are obeying to large businessmen for creating more & more poor people. Why Indian Govt. is not publishing jobs data each month/ each quarter, like USA? Indian Govt. should have to publish, so that Indian people will understand what is better for them. In USA, there was recession in 1985. Walton, the CMD of Wal-Mart had launched the campaign of MADE IN USA. Both the Wal Mart & suppliers of WALMART are agreeing about the cost & price cutting. But, afterwards Walton bought goods from outside USA & labelled them as MADE IN USA for cheaper input costs. How much margin organised retailers get? 3%-Wall Mart & 1.5%-Pantaloon Retail. What are the impacts of organised retail chains on cities other than metros? Dr. MMS had implemented organised retail under the pressure of powerful economies. Decision of organised retail is not Manmohaneconomics, but the keen desire of western countries to support their companies. WalMart is total failure in USA regarding social issues. Unorganised retailers had shut shops long ago. In small towns only malls are there. India has 125 Crs population. Unemployment will icrease heavily due to ORGANISED RETAILERS & their cartels.

ORGANISED RETAIL & IT'S DEEP IMPACTS
by udayraj on Apr 08, 2009 06:45 PM

Allowing organised retail in India is the biggest mistake ever done by Dr.MMS. Large corporations like reliance group & International retail chain like WalMart are now spearheading their heads in the country. What is the benefits of organised retail in INDIA is ,it gives larger corporations & multinationals an opportunity to harass ‘aam admi’ & make him more poor & poor & generate themselves a lot of money at the cost of ‘aam admi’ & only @ 0.6% to 1.8% net profit on total sales, when there are other businesses in existance which can generate them more revenues. The disadvantage is that the persons employed in retail approximately 4 crores of shopowners & 17-19 crores of their employees will register in employment exchanges in future as nonvacant candidates. The another disadvantage is about farmers. They now get better prices from multinationals than current retailers, but when the current retailers will disappear from screen, these multinationals unite themselves & form cartels & suppress for cost reduction. In detail, salary in the case of employees of organised retail ;farmers in the case of their produce & same is with the other amenities like day-to-day living instruments like appliances & other products for Small & Medium scale Enterprises. What is the benefit of customer, most of them after approx. 2-5 years later have no earnings more than now by loosing their businesses & vacancies & due to inflation & monopolistic policies of large corporations.

ORGANISED RETAIL & IT'S DEEP IMPACTS
by udayraj on Apr 08, 2009 06:44 PM

British ended the self regulating village system, now Dr. Manmohan Singh govt. went into new agenda, end of unorganised retail & produce more and more poor people, so that he can again say “GARIBI HATAV”/“AAM ADAMI BACHAV” & sit on the chair by accumulating more & more votes & liberlise themselves from support of allies. If any organised retailer, whether local or multinational, went into bringing his retail chain, then retailors must have to say to him “QUIT INDIA” because that is in the interest of nation as a whole. The central government should have to ban organised retail in total whether that is local or multinational. India has 12 million retail outlets engaging 7% of the workforce, making it the second-biggest employer in the country. Where the organised retail opened nearby shops faced 50% of returns decline, e.g.navi mumbai. The central govt. though considered upto this time of “aam adami”, has been refusing to act in the national interest of protecting the livelihoods of nearly 20 crore people. I will appraise the work being done by Left parties in Kerala, Samajwadi Party & UP govt. of BSP for saving the life of common man, & I think they are really people oriented. The state govt. of Kerala & UP have passed laws to curb entry & growth of corporations in the retail sector.

Letter written out of fear and frustration
by Ramnath Krishnamoorthy on Apr 08, 2009 06:43 PM

Jairam Ramesh is obviously frustrated at the prospect of his own black money coming back to India as well as those of every Congress leader. No wonder on the issue of black money, congress gets nervous.

Jairam Ramesh and the desperation of his party!
by Jack Nil on Apr 08, 2009 06:43 PM  | Hide replies

Dear Mr. Ramesh,

I am equally amused to read the contents of your letter to Mr. Advani. His soruces could be 'bogus' or unauthenticated, but can you deny the fact that there is huge Indian money amassed by most of the unscrupulous politicians from all the parties and business men, stock brokers are stacked in these banks. Statistically the Congree party has created the maximum number of politicians who are intelligent and has unmatched business acumen. Then a corrolary may be drawn that the stake of your party is much higher than other parties including BJP if at all these facts are extricated from those banks(which I think will never be possible, despite those tall claims by Mr. Advani). The desperation of your party is palpable and rightly so because of two reasons:

1. You are surpised that how a party like BJP can raise such a highly intelligent issue which has already touched hearts of so many pooor Indians like me, of course without much hope.

2. Your party knows if the truth comes out of the closet there will be many scape goats like Natwar Singhs and his flamboyant son. In this occasions there will be so many headts that your grand old party may not find those many people for sacrifice.

Your letter to Mr. Advani has done a lot of damage to your party's image simply because a response of this nature and that too after a week of 'deep thought and deliberations with the great high command' has indirectly vindicated the allegations of the BJP.

Jai Ho!

ICAI IS 100% RESPONSIBLE FOR PARALLEL ECONOMY IN INDIA
by anshuman on Apr 08, 2009 06:43 PM

Indian Business School is ranked 15th in International educational institutions; that is the proud moment for India and that is the topmost achievement for any Indian educational institution. Also, it is surprising that Indian Business School overtakes IIMs, IITs like great educational institutions and paltry educational bodies, whose quality structures are in dolldrum, like ICAI, ICSI, ICWAI, etc. It is better for INDIAN GOVERNMENT that they should handover the responsibilities of ICAI, ICSI, ICWAI to Indian Business School & link Indian Business School to apex bodies and dissolve ICAI, ICSI, & ICWAI, so that no malpractices will happen in forthcoming bright future of corporate culture. Also, it is also desirable that all charters given to these three i.e. ICAI, ICSI, ICWAI, organisation members should have to be withdrawn permanently. At the moment of charters given to members of these third class educational institutions being taken back all black money will came into the system as white money & no special efforts will be required to overcome economic crisis. Government must have to pay attention to this important issue. ICAI is the institution which is 100% responsible for the parallel economy running in this country. If Ministry of Company Affairs is unwilling to this, then it is the presumption that ministry also part of the fraudulent system & their intentions were not to curb the malpractices but to proliferate the same.

Advani's daughter-in-law has also given a written statement as to how he and his wife sent all the silver statues of hindu gods, which were gifted to him by kar sevaks, to be melted and turned into dining silverware..

So much for the protector of hindus and jinnah lover
