I like the statement "More importantly there is also this sense of insecurity among the Hindus", this is because of Congress rule.

I like the statement : "There are various issues such as communal harmony and safety of women which need to be addressed immediately. We need to tell the people that religion comes later and it is humanity first" Probably BJP will now realise that religion is not important humanity is .

contribution of First Rank holders in the society...
by Guest on Apr 07, 2009 10:31 AM

I have always wondered, the first rank holders and gold medalists have always thought about their career, family(nuclear)...etc. The real leadership in the society has always come from the Average people. I was excited to know that a person of your caliber is contesting LS polls. My hearty congratulations and Best wishes to you. If you win it is good, even if you loose you will set a new example, which the others will follow in future. - Dr. Sheshagiri

From NJ to Mangalore: A scientist's poll tale
by Govindan on Apr 07, 2009 09:56 AM  | Hide replies

He may be an intelligent, straight forward and well educated person. But he has no experience in Indian politics. In the present circumstances it is very difficult to win the election without any political parties support or he should gain support of the people by doing social work for a few y ears. So, my sincere advice is that instead of spending his hard earned money for fighting election, he should start social work to gain popularity
