Why Indians are QUITTING only Hinduism and not other religions? Hinduism intrinsically breeds HATRED among Children. Hinduism's caste system is a religious-based system of separating groups and keeping one class (Brahmins?) over everyone else.
In America there is no system in place today that forces people to remain separate or keeps one class subservient to another. If you were born the son of a street sweeper, but excelled, you could become a doctor or lawyer or some celebrity or entrepreneur - and at the same time you would be fully accepted by your peers.
Not so in India. The caste system freezes everyone in place. It is extremely difficult - almost impossible - for someone from the lowest caste to rise in education and social status. A Dalit would never be allowed to marry into one of the higher castes and would never be accepted as an equal. And for a Dalit to make it into medical school or opening a restaurant or become a member of high society in India is very rare indeed.
Only by escaping from the grasp of Hinduism do they have much of a chance.... Alternatively, you must vote for candidates from your caste only till 85% of all registered marriages in India are inter-caste or inter-faith.

You blady should know that in 1947 india was divided in the name of religion. As muslim demaned & get home land in the name of religion, so they don't have right to live in India. They shd move to their country pakistan or bangladesh

I think Rediff is wise to print the article. It is good to know who the biased and one sided hate filled writers are.
He is writer, what he feel gave you in article, he is not compelling you to except or deny, but you ppl are sitting in Advanis place arguing on issue that you never understand, you have only one eye seeing negative part of 60 Years of independence, If the same opposition fight against right , raise right issue before public , but they always try to come in power, where opposition unable to play role effectively , Thanks to Congress who gave us such good leader with mass support now we are emerging as world leader, if congress unable to deliver as you ppl said what you except from BJP Leader, who are human traffickers, taking money to raise public voice in parliament , fail to negotiate with with hijackers & freed four hardcore terrorist, in five only five years they showed us their capacity and capability how they ruin young ppls those were self fired in anti reservation movement, how they use public religious sentiments to gain power, they use patriot ism As master tool , use TV actors to increase numbers in parliament, They do what they blame on congress, read article during Punjab terrorism in peak how they fires on sikh community now they are first & last well wisher, what is wrong to support minority community they are also Indian, we praise Dr Kalam but abuse Muslim at large, those are wrong say wrong but saying all community part & parcel, why you are sitting here to arguing because your parents were keen to earn money even they not interested in local issue, but

during independence ambedkar said that all have aequal vote lets divide the properties equally so that all have ahouse and apiece of land which was rejected by the congress jamindars has most wanted to enjoy like british(they r still doing it).if that was done than there would have been equality dear friend.

It did not take Varun's pronouncements to degrade India politics to its lowest level- Indian politics is already so low, that one need dig a huge, deep hole to find its bottom. Dr.Pandey, by writing this article, all you have done is devalued the stature of Magsaysay award. If a person like you, lacking insight, analytical capabilities can own all the titles that have been shown at the bottom of this article then tomorrow Sun may rise from the west. Being (pseudo) secular (read dumb), you might have fetched all these awards, but it doesn't help the nation or the people. The reason I pity the so called intellectuals like you is, you guys lack practical wisdom but are still hailed. Please stop writing such stupid articles and do us a big favour.

U r pointing drawbacks of Congress rule only and not ready to point any achievement.What r the achievements of parties other than congress?Even our parliament was attacked under NDA rule and how can we forget the Ghodra incident.Now BJP is bringing the hindutwa card again to lead the country into a communal violence to capture vote bank.
