I t is well known that the congress party, with its foreign president, is up to any thing to grab power in all the states. Actually, they dont care for any other party like RJD,DMK,LEFT PARTIES ETC. Once they get sufficient no. of MP seats in loksabha, in the next genral elections, UPA will vanish and congress prime minister Sonia Gandhi will be hoisted on this poor INDIA. This is their game plan. That is how the goa and Jarkhna episodes should be looked at. There is no sacrifice which is attributed to sonia. She is waiting to rule india with congress majority in loksabha. Every american and european visiter in cluding the Pope have contacts to see that India again becomes a slave country. POOR INDI. SAVE INDIA.
CK GUNDU RAO.

Excellent Report. Indian media generally back up all that the Congress does in the guise of "Secularism". You have thoroughly exposed the scant respect Congress has for established norms and ethics. Hats off to you!

Is this a BJP run portal or what if the comments are the sole responsibility of the writer then you should firstly be ashamed of your self the Communalistic NDA kills not democracy but INDIA itsself they did the same thing in UP some years back if im not mistaken.and i think some of the pro NDA writers here turned a blind eye to that.

Jharkand Mess
by vibhor on Mar 06, 2005 09:49 AM

What have we come to. Should we be priding ourselves anymore on being one of the world's largest democracies anymore? Jharkand, Goa are prime counter-examples to this fact.
The Jharkand mess, the NDA would lead us to believe was 'the murder of Democracy'. I beg to differ, Sir. From 1975, since the infamous emergency the slow killing of democracy had started and the process only continues. And it is not only the INC which has contrbuted to this process.
Are we democratic , are we secular? The NDA would lead us to believe that we are not democratic if the Congress is in power. Truth is the BJP also has had its way when it was in power. The Congress would lead us to believe that we are not secular if the BJP comes into power. Ask them for reasons and Babri and Gujarat would be promptly cited. Truth is the Congress too has some clarifications to give on 1984.
They donned on the role of 'protectors of secularism ' when required for political mileage.
The bottomline here being there's not much to choose from. Both BJP and INC indulge in dirty politics whenever required. And the voter well, he in most cases anyways decides on caste, religion.

India the sad country
by krishnakumar on Mar 06, 2005 09:27 AM

It is amazing that in Jharkhand Shibu Soren says on Tv that he has 37 when he requires 41 and says he will manage the rest. The Governor after meeting the President comes out and says I am right !!! The President instead of taking the Governor to task simply keeps mum...

The rest of the Congress Party keeps praising Sonia Gandhi !!! Amazing but true... Priya Munshi says Shibu does not have the nos but he will get it and Soniaji has nothing to do with the whole issue..Wonder why Soniaji could not send somebody better.. Priyada contribution to politics is well known even better known is he for the Contribution he has made to Indian Football !!!

However we are a great nation and nothing bothers us , the Media also has played a excellent role in making people like Soren and Laloo Cult figures. So keep up the good work... Mera Bharat Mahaan.

It is no use blaming congress for it. They are simply exploiting the legal loop holes. Morality is not an issue in Indian politics.
The real culprit is India's contitution. It is time to fix the basic problem.
It is time to build into the system responsibility and accoutability.
The arbitrary actions of bureaucrats and law makers could controlled only then.
It will also be prudent to ask if an appointed Governor fits into a democratic set up. Kick them out.

The message is clear, even the high and mighty
standing on high pedestal of moral values ,
belonging to any political outfit, succumb to
the lures of power,an illusion one cannot overcome.

This incidence lifts the veil of sacrifice from Sonia Gandhi's, act of declining power.
