by raghavendradeshmukh on Mar 04, 2005 09:58 AM

I requesting here to our best president to pull out the governor for that great post. Because the NDA TAKE THE HIGHEST SEAT IN THE JARKHAND . Our democracy says to governor first call the highest seat persons to call for the make the government . This is should made by the governor. Here governor take the decision i think as per the sonia gandhi. This is shows she is the president and tell that to take the decision to the governor. Then who is Abdul Kalam. If Abdul Kalam is the president then please i requesting to our president to pull out the governor of jarkhand

Restrore Democracy in Jharkhand
by Saurabh on Mar 03, 2005 11:42 PM

Mr. Kalam,

Indian public now looks upon you to restore democracy in Jharkhand. What we have seen is a brazen partiality and murder of democracy. Please help and live upto the expectations that people have of you.

Regards,
Saurabh

The action of the Guv is hasty, undemocratic and unconstitutional to say the least. His action could be challenged in the Supreme court. The Guv should have in the first place asked NDA leader to form the Govt on the basis of 41 MLAs produced before him & the fact that it is the largest pre-poll alliance formation.Instead he in a partisan manner asked UPA leader to form the Govt & a CM was foisted hastily. To top it he gave him 20 long days time to 'establish'(read manipulate) his majority. He might as well have given him just 5 short years! If the Guv could not decide due to a hung assembly,as the courts opined in the past, the right thing to do is to convene the Legislative Assembly to elect a leader.Perhaps the court may have to mandate that this procedure should be followed in all situations, no matter who has the majority.Otherwise the partisan Guvs & their 'remote'in Delhi could derail the largest democracy in the world to become the largest Banana Republic. What a sorry state of affairs in the affairs of the state.
