Nation Ruled by fools & governed by Farce
by Tejas on Mar 08, 2005 01:05 AM

Its a Irony that the IB chief of our country should be so servile. The department whose integral functioning & focus on National security issues is of prime importance,is busy in displaying its servility. rapping the Divisional chief, for not doing what was not only (by book of law)a due discharge of his duty, but also a shameful & henious act of threatning the very apparatus & its subject, whom they're serving; The Indian Demaocracy.I do not know who was to blame whether BJP or Congress as both are Political parties both played equally culpable in destroying the democratic process.Dragging the IB apparatus into this the ruling coalition has displayed its utter sense of autocracy & disdain towards the system, & equally IB chief as aperson has shown that he has no Spine.Probably we're so much psyched & attuned to being servile that we pride ourselves by being slave, & the IB chief is all these qualities personified. Can we trust such a person to make decisions regarding the sovergnity & territorial & as well as integrity of our Nation, certainly no.If Mr.IB chief has some sense of of manliness in him, I request him not to drag an Instittution like IB into such shameful acts.

IB should serve the purpose of protecting the nations but not to help chief ministers in proving their majority.

Whom to blaim?
by Kanthi on Mar 04, 2005 09:39 PM

I have been following the developments over the last few months when the elections for all these three states were announced and the drama that has been going on in the name of democracy. I have a very simple question Whom to Blame? the politicians? or we hundred crore Indians? I don't see any point simply blaming politicians when things go wrong and live as if nothing happened, I am sure a lot of people who read these articles, reply all will forget this drama by the time they go to vote next time.
Why are we not learning from our past? What is that stopping us to correct our mistakes? If you want to correct the wrong things that have happened, show it when you vote evrey time, other wise there is no point making a fuss about politicians. It's same as the politicians acting in assemblies & parliment to fool us. Believe me if some thing has to change it's me & you & 100 cr popolation, not politics if we all change the politicians are not far from changing themselves or getting dumped by people.
Above all this, It's a shame but the truth is we have fogotten the meaning of Freedom, Democracy, it was moguls, british & now politicians, don't know who's next?

And I thot IB was to serve interest of the nation
by vipul on Mar 04, 2005 11:31 AM

Hi,

To know that IB chief was rapped for the whereabouts of 5 MLAs and that IB claiming to be reporting every 30 mins to PMO, is not just shocking, but also goes to show the influence of the incumbent government in center on UNBIASED agencies.

To deploy IB sleuths on tracing down MLAs and preventing them from their regular duty of watching over threat to national security, is a criminal waste of already scarce resources.

It also goes to prove the highly 'Democratic' nature and belief of the UPA government, whose appointed governors act more as if they are still in their party 'karyalay' and not 'Rajbhavan'.

I'm ashamed that I voted for such a government.

regards,
Vipul Arora

Henchmen of Congress party
by Prakash on Mar 04, 2005 11:22 AM

I thought that a National security adviser is a sercurity adviser of the nation not a welfare adviser of the congress party. But the way the National security adviser raps the chief of the Intelligence bureau for his failure to locate the independent MLAs of of Jharkhand shows that these guys are personal croonies of the party in power. It is a shame on the Congress Government and these guys that they stoop to such levels for grabbing power.
