Well.....all that matters is that she is Human. It is important for everyone to realise the simple fact that everybody in this world is human and thats all that matters.Sonia Gandhi won because people feel she is a good human, who has the ability to run the country efficiently. May God's guidence and protection be upon her, always.

Italy celebrates?
by Sumit on May 14, 2004 04:41 AM  | Hide replies

This article is extremely inflammatory. I am surprised that a publication like Rediff can't tell that this headline was created only to add fuel to the fire about Sonia Gandhi's Italian origins. The truth is that hardly anyone in Italy knows her, and just one mayor's comments don't result in the whole of Italy celebrating.

Friend, why should then there be countries, borders, religions, currencies? If all are human beings why not allow Musharaf to rule India as well? Will you accept your neighbor down the street as your mother? Do you have any sense of pride for the nation?

italy celeberates sonia win
by anshu on May 13, 2004 10:46 PM

You article's headline is absolutely misleading.

Sonia Gandhi is a unknown person in Italy except in her own town and that is what you have mentioned in your article.

Just on the basis of three or four people's comment you cannot say that ITaly is celeberating.

can any indian ever become a PM/Pres of any other country? Atleast pakistan which was in India at one time. NO WAY. That shows how nationalists we indians are. all those so called secular liberals, spare a thought for this.
