What abt Godhra???
by Deepesh on Mar 04, 2004 09:06 AM

The article spoke to people from the muslim community & not once while mentioning Gujrat & blaming BJP for the same, did they comment on the events that took place at Godhra. Not once did they feel ashamed that Godhra happened because of Muslims.
Hence all that the article talks is ONE SIDED.

muslims still cant trust bjp-comments
by siva on Mar 04, 2004 07:15 AM

i was deeply saddened by this article, because i am a indian, and am a firm believer in hindu muslim unity.
I still cant believe the BJP has no support among the majority of the minority.I know what has been done in gujarat is unpardonable, very savage, and the culprits need to be given capital punishment. But what i want to say to all my bhais is this,u forget the bjp is part of a coalition. And they have made a real effort towards India's progress.
U have to believe BJP because there is nobody left to believe. And i too believe the BJP will reignite India's future.Just give them a chance.I assure u that if they betray then everybody will be against them. But then belief is the key to success and with it lies India's path to a super power.

thanks

a true indian

Muslims still can't trust BJP
by Everest Peak on Mar 04, 2004 02:49 AM

I am not suprised. It takes a long time to build the trust. Decades of vote bank politics and minority appeasment and lack of development in muslim communities will make it harder.

But i am positive..the day will come soon if not now atleast next decade we can see it.

Muslim's still can't trust BJP
by Goutom. C on Mar 04, 2004 12:58 AM

Ehtasham Khan's article is more provocative than BJP's so called Hindutva proopoganda ! Some columnists , I am sure , as a retaliatory measure , some columnists will get testimonies from Godhra citizens or from some parts of the country where innocent Hindu's were mercilessly victimized by Muslim Zealots !
The fact of the matter is , both communities should consciously dispel doubts about ' intentions ' & ignoring such articles as written by Mr.Khan , look forward to a more peaceful society where people of both the sects can peacefully co - exist as true Indians upholding the secular fabric of this country .
