Rishav Pant has made world record in batting if you consider only Sydney test match but what about the reckless , irresponsible batting in other test matches in Australia? Also, consider the number of missed catches and stumping chances he has missed in just concluded four test match series in Australia. Rishav Pant knew he has been dropped in coming world cup due to his poor performance, hence he was desperate in making up his lost ground and his desperate attempt has paid off, but that success has come after he frittered away the golden chance he received when he was selected as a wicket keeper in test matches in Australia.Yes, in future he may prove his mettle but for now he can not compete with MSD.

Yes his 'reckless' 30 in the first test, and India won by 31 runs. Also his reckless century in England is another reason to drop him. What a failure. Reckless 351 runs in Australia, just second best after Pujara.

If we require 50 in 25 balls today whom would you like to be batting Pant or Dhoni? Past records are OK but current form is more important. I fear India will regret their decision to keep MSD in ODIs on the cost of Pant in 2019.

Who cares about Rahul who could not put bat to ball in AUS and Pandya who doesn't even know how to talk decently in TV show
