If India is banned, it will be the end of cricket as a commercial activity. I still believe we should play against Pak cos forfeiting is not in the spirit of the game. Plus we would definitely lose out on the semifinal spot.

Indian Govt has every right and authority to ban India playing agst Pak in world Cup - Neither BCCI nor ICC, private bodies could take any decision violating their own rules and regulations etc. ...applicable to all playing/participating teams/countries.
Let ICC ban India. then Bcci should stops foreignfpkayers playingpin IPL. BCCI shoukd stop the payement given to sri lankan board and weatindies board in form of tournaments.

pakistan and india match is created to make big money advertisment rate and seat ticket sell at 3 times the prise of the rest of the matches.
Ban or no ban.India should not play Pakistan and should persuade other countries to boycott it .Was South Africa not boycotted for its apartheid policies?
