our batsman failed bigtime.... on england pitches, ball is swinging like anything, if you look all greats like gavaskar, tendulkar, ganguly dravid used to play country cricket to tackle swing on english pitches... nowdays none of indian player is serious of playing county cricket instead they prefer to play IPL... this is the reason of our debacle in england
We dont have second line for Virat kohli removal from captaincy, but Ravi Shastri's output seems only clapping when somebody makes 50 or 100, we need somebody else in Australia tour.
Post the series debacle @England - Kohli mentions in statement - not a true reflection of our potential. I beg to differ - we were thoroughly outplayed by England on all fronts. Kohli's captaincy itself was a question mark? Playing and strategising on Flat Indian soil is different from that of oversees condition. Also I do not know whether Shastri was on a holiday or what? There was no contribution from him . Utter waste of tax payer money - He should not be given salary also.

I fully endorse your view. When players get all praise for good performance, they should get all flak for not doing well. I feel that points-system like rankings are to be introduced for payments also. BCCI should bear all tour expenses, that is all. At the end of the tour, based on runs scored, wickets taken, catches held.dropped, points should be awarded and payments should be directly related to points earned. Players should understand that they are not going on sight-seeing trip and should concentrate on their first task, i.e., winning.
