Time has come for India to play cricket in a professional manner, where the players will be fully committed to the country and to the game.Lets not leave it chances whatsoever.India has the calibre to field to 2 World Cup winning teams. Our opponents and especially Pakistan totally exploits our vulnerabilities. And yes the coach and the captain has to be on the same thinking.Follow the example of coach Gary Kristen and Captain Dhoni, who won India the ICC World Cup after 28 years.Cricket is our national game unofficially and we cant leave it to the present state of affairs.
the runout of Hardik Pandya tells stories about the Indian players' attitude. Hardik was the only threat for Pakistan and Jadeja didn't run ! Why? Because he thought he can play as well as Hardik. The me-too attitude at every step evolves into the proverbial Indian crab mentality.
It was also apparent that the Indian players did not have a strategy, each of them is in own, which explains why Kumble probably sounded overbearing when he tried to correct it. Anil Kumble's reactions on the field in his time, weren't exemplary.
The on-field tensions between Rohit and Virat are there for everyone to see. Rohit is run out by Virat, the same way Laxman used to be run out by Sachin! Bullying, spoilt brats can mess up the whole party.
Pakistan on the other hand looked like a motivated, well-knit team. Sarfraz's inspired leadership is like Dhoni's. Their players loved to perform for him and the team to put it across in style, without rancour or sledging.
No, Virat Kohli, like Sachin Tendulkar isn't captaincy material. He just doesn't have the emotional stability. The same reason Yuvraj was overlooked for Dhoni.
Finally, the Indian cricket board is in the hands of judiciary ! If that isn't seen an anomaly, you can't speak to those who have hearing but won't listen.

good analysis our bowling is too weak, poor bowling selection, shami was never played. rohit should be made captain.

Rohit as a captain, at least would have tried something different though I don't rate him as a reliable batsman against genuine swing and pace bowling.
Every parent wishes that their child should become something very good but it is not always true with all parents.Sililarly it should not be expected that our team should always win all matches All our players are loyal have performed well in the past and have brought good name to our country so if there is one defeat we should not criticize our team make issue and beat about bush

Reason for failure: (1) choosing of bowling option (2) On knowing Rohit failed as well as a catch was dropped Virat should have taken little more time to go for runs. Because of his failure the team lost its morale.

reason for failure 1.choosing ashwin, despite his lack of form and confidence 2.overconfidence , that bowling was failing was evedent from SL and bangladesh games 3.failure to get shami in any of games. 4. we won games by fluke ( game against pak- catches dropped by them, SA- their foolish run outs, bangladesh- fluke dismissal by jadhav)
This is Game... over enthusiasm cost us defeat.. Instead of Bumrah n Ashwin we should have Shami n Umesh.... Dhoni N Yuvraj have lost consistency....Rash shot by Jadhav....our bowling was disastrous....

Correct.Dhoni played so selfish type. Now he is not captain. if this thing happens his captaincy. he play hole 50 over like world cup but now he is not captain. this final he payed very bad short and out. this is his responsibility.
